The Old Mission Hall gave us even more than expected.

... clean, comfortable, very well equipped in every possible way; a very generous welcome pack provided by Karen who was at hand to help if needed was a bonus. But the location was amazing....loch views everywhere - from the mainly glass conservatory which heated very quickly even in October, from the airy bedroom french windows and from the decking area beyond it. We climbed the tiny hill to sit on a bench with stunning views knowing that Kathleen had enabled us to stay and enjoy a very special place on this beautiful part of Lewis.

We had a lovely holiday at Old Mission Hall, the cottage is in an excellent location.

Thanks to Karen for her hospitality and information that she gave us. We absolutely loved visiting the island and our little dog Jenson loved visiting a different beach every day. We celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary and I'm so pleased it was such a fantastic memorable holiday to mark the occasion.

We first stayed in 2019 and had booked for 2020 but then Covid struck so this was cancelled and this is our first chance to get back to Old Mission Hall and we were not disappointed.

Karen met us on arrival with a warm (Northern) welcome, The cottage was spotless on arrival and once again a brilliant hamper even better than 2019 Milk, Coffee, Eggs, Bacon, Rolls, Cake and shortbread one of the best hampers in a self catering cottage thanks you so much. We have been coming to the Isle of Lewis for some Years so have done all the tourist attractions our time is mostly spent on the beaches with our 3 Lurchers Tinker, Yuki, & Ren this is the first time we have visited in September as we usually come in June when the daylight hours are longer and the weather better, this time we had a mixture of sun, wind and rain but it did not stop us going out. We would like to thank the owners for providing this brilliant cottage and for all the information Kathleen sent by email before the holiday. We would highly recommend this cottage but would like to keep it a secret also as it makes it harder to get a booking as we know it is booked up for June till 2028 which lets you know how good it is. Big thanks to Karen for keeping the cottage spotless.
