This is a wonderful place to stay and we could not have enjoyed it more.

It’s a comfortable, bright spacious bungalow that has the best front window view you could ask for. It has everything that our family could have asked for and made for the perfect base to explore the Outer Hebrides.

Very comfortable house in a great location with a terrific views in all directions.

Near the beach, near a cafe, hotel restaurant and a great pub 'Am Politician' just over on Eriskay. Co-op a short drive away and Ferry port only 15 mins drive. The house was kitted out very well and really had all you would need for a great base to explore Uist Owner was very friendly and a pleasure to meet him Recommended

The location was excellent with outstanding views.

The property was well decorated and very clean. The only problem was that there was not enough storage space in the bedrooms and bathrooms. The shower had low pressure.

Beautiful location and home.

The house was spacious and had everything we needed. We were pleasantly surprised at the high quality of the furniture and kitchen equipment and the house was warm and clean. Amazing views from the lounge window of local wildlife, sea and from the back a beautiful restored stone cottage (also a holiday home). The owner was super friendly and checked to see all was going well with our stay. Highly recommend a visit to this beautiful location and home.

Super house well equipped and comfortable, amazing location for the stunning beaches of the ‘Uists’ and the lovely wildlife.

Neil is a star, very helpful and obviously cares about his properties, really kind chap. We were very lucky with the weather but even on the one wet day, still need to go exploring. Thank you Neil!

A very comfortable and clean cottage in the most wonderful situation with magnificent views.

Neil is an excellent host who looks after you with a warm welcome, milk, scones, oatcakes, pancakes, salmon and wine.The cottage is very well equipped and everything you need is to hand. A perfect place for a Hebridean escape.

We had a lovely stay at Lingleigh.

The cottage was very comfortable, extremely clean and the kitchen was well equipped. The beds were really comfortable and the views across the loch to the sea were stunning. We saw eagles and short eared owls from the garden. Amazing. Neil looked after us extremely well- thank you Neil! I would throughly recommend a stay at Lingleigh- comfortable, inviting and very relaxing. Thank you.

The cottage was fabulous, the close proximity to the beach was brilliant, we were in the sea in 5 minutes

Well thought out accommodation with lots of extras provided. Neil makes a point of visiting new arrivals which is a lovely touch.

The house is set in a stunning location with sea views to the front and hill views to the back. Everything you need in the kitchen is there and the house feels very cosy . Parking is very good and I can really say that I would have no hesitation in recommending Lingeigh and I would certainly stay again if I return to the Uists in the future

Fantastic cottage in a wonderful location.

Everything you need for a relaxing holiday. Scenery, beaches, and good restaurant nearby (5 mins walk) if you don’t want to drive. Neil is a great host, lots of information’s available in the cottage to help you plan your days and you really can watch the short eared owls hunt from your kitchen windows.
