This beautiful barn conversion is situated just outside the ancient town of Stratford-upon-Avon in lovely Warwickshire countryside.
Grade II listed this stunning cottage provides modern, contemporary, all ground floor accommodation perfect for a romantic break for get together with friends.
The elegant open plan living area boasts underfloor heating, a vaulted beamed ceiling, comfy seating area around an electric woodburning stove and kitchen fitted with all the equipment you need to prepare any style of meal.
The two bedrooms have been furnished to a very high standard and both have en-suite shower rooms.
You can sit and enjoy a BBQ in the front garden on a summer's evening or why not take a stroll to the Riverside restaurant and enjoy a drink overlooking the River Avon.
A short walk into the village gives you a choice of restaurants, a lovely village pub and a very popular tapas bar.
With Stratford-upon-Avon just one mile away, Warwick and the Cotswolds towns and villages just a short drive, there is certainly something for everyone in this beautiful part of the country.
Megs Cottage is perfectly located for a memorable holiday at any time of year.

Didn't realise that the cottage was on a caravan site although no noise was heard from them.
We booked when there were no reviews so were unaware of these caravans or the barn having a saniflow system. The drainage smell in the twin room was not pleasant! The sliding doors on the bathrooms didn't close properly and the sinks drained while the plugs where in the plughole. The bedroom doors dragged on the floor so would wake anyone in the other bedroom. No breadboard or bread bin in kitchen or kitchen roll provided. Reported faulty light in kitchen, electrician came very quickly but was unable to fix it while we were there. The cottage just looks out to the back of other empty properties. The only saving grace was being able to access the river taxi's to go to Stafford-upon-Avon and the local restaurants in Tiddington. We will not be returning or recommending this cottage.
We had a fab stay at Meg’s Cottage.
The place is very comfortable, with comfy sofas to relax in and comfy beds to sleep on. We could have done with a few more mugs and plates to save washing up every time (everything seemed to be strictly aimed at four staying guests) and you had to fight with the tv remote to get the channels and features you wanted, but other than that, it was spot on. Many thanks.
This was our third stay at Meg’s Cottage, but the first under its new management.
It appears much the same and is a lovely bolt hole. The welcome pack was great. However there needs to be a little more information in the cottage regarding things like where to put the rubbish and recycling. Storage, particularly in the twin room, is an issue but on the whole we would use the cottage again.
