  • "I loved my stay at the cottage for the couple of weeks I was there."

The views from the bedroom were beautiful, and there were scenic walks all around — many starting right outside the cottage door. The location is excellent, very close to Haworth, just a 5-minute drive or around a 20-minute walk away. There are also two pubs nearby, and Haworth itself has plenty more options for food and drinks. The cottage was thoughtfully decorated and had everything needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay.

We appreciate your kind words, and so happy you loved your stay. Hope to see you soon. Property Owner

  • "The cottage was an absolute joy to stay in!"

Cosy and comfortable, it’s got everything you need to make it a home from home. The owners couldn’t have been more helpful and welcoming - the basket of dog goodies and the human goodies left for us were especially welcoming! But the best thing was the location. The view out of the bedroom window was stunning and for those looking to do a ‘Brontë’ walk - you only had to step out of the front door and you were on your way! We will definitely be back :)

We appreciate your feedback, it really does mean a lot. It also helps us to help you have the best vacation. ( The towels have been de-fluffed ) Property Owner

HAWORTH

Skipton 13 miles; Hebden Bridge 8 miles.

The small village of Haworth was home to the famous Brontë sisters, who were inspired by the surrounding moorland to pen their novels, which have become classics of English Literature. Haworth is a village that time almost forgot, with its myriad of curiosity and antique shops, alleyways and cobbled streets creating a wonderful period atmosphere, all set against a framing backdrop of countryside famously described in the novel Wuthering Heights as wild, rugged and barren. Nearby, the famous Keighley and Worth Valley Railway, an authentic steam railway brought to prominence in the film The Railway Children, provides a lovely day out with a regular service to the old village of Oxenhope. The area abounds with popular places to visit, including the Brontë Parsonage Museum, East Riddlesden Hall, and the National Railway Museum in York. The market town of Skipton, often fondly regarded as the Gateway to the Yorkshire Dales, is just a short drive away, and also within reach are elegant Harrogate and vibrant Leeds and Manchester.
