What a wonderful 4 nights at Moorview!

Immaculately presented and the little touches made all the difference. Only downside was the sofa wasn’t very comfortable, but that didn’t put us off and we would definitely return.

The property was well equipped and clean throughout.

The location was fine and within easy driving reach of local towns and villages. There were some nice touches such as the OS map of the area and book of walks. A file with information about the surrounding area would have been useful, as would information on what to do with recycling, bins, etc. The bed was comfortable, however the sofa in the lounge was uncomfortable and not suited to anything other than a short sit.

A beautiful property in a beautiful location.

Moorview was everything we hoped it would be and more! The property is beautifully decorated with unique and quirky touches, the beds are very comfortable, impeccably clean and the property has everything you could possibly need to make the stay welcoming and comfortable. The location is great; views of the rolling hillside, lovely local walks (though the steep hills took our Norfolk legs some getting used to!), a proper local pub within walking distance, a village shop which stocks some great local produce (the cheesecakes and biscuits were personal favourites) and a larger supermarket only a short drive away. We have already recommended Moorview to our family and friends, sending them lots of photos of our time there, we will definitely be back.

What a beautiful little apartment.

My husband gifted me a wine tasting and lunch voucher at Holmfirth vineyard, so me and a friend decided to make a weekend of it. Moorview is so tastefully decorated with beautiful touches throughout making the whole place feel calm and cosy. The area is quiet and peaceful with beautiful views from the living room window. We wondered through Holmfirth at the weekend and didn't have an issue getting an Uber pack up for £6ish. We would absolutely stay again and recommend to others. The smaller bedroom did get quite warm as it doesn't have a window. The ceiling fan did help a little but I think every property in the UK struggles with these crazy new temperatures!

Lovely modern apartment, thoughtfully and charmingly decorated with everything you would want for your holiday.

Great location for exploring the Holmfirth area.

Everything was lovely, clean and tidy.

However due to the extreme weather there was no window in the smaller bedroom, this made sleeping there very uncomfortable, far too hot. The bathroom had a window but this could not be opened, again this made the bathroom feel too hot. Otherwise really enjoyed the stay.

Lots of options to eat out close by, along with everything you need to cook a cozy meal in. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay!!

A lovely apartment, well decorated and had everything you could ever need and more.

By far the best equipped place we have ever stayed in. The bed was very comfy. The host Matthew was welcoming. It is ideally situated for walking in the northern part of the Peak District plus other attractions nearby like Cannon Hall and the Yorkshire sculpture park. Perfect.

Moorview is a lovely homely place to stay in a peaceful location.

Great for accessing the beautiful Yorkshire countryside for walks and cycling right from the door. Matthew our host was welcoming, easy to get in touch with and very accommodating. The Flat had everything we needed and we enjoyed the scenic views across the valley. We would visit again and highly recommend!

So well appointed - literally everything you could ever need has been provided. Bed was comfy, soft furnishings beautiful and everything was spotlessly clean. We would definitely stay again and recommend to others.
