The Barn at Frog Pond Farm

We had wonderful break at Frog Pond Barn, Gail and Mark had thought of everything we might need .

Mark was very helpful when we had a problem with our car and recommended a local garage. Gail's banana bread was delicious. The bed was extremely comfortable. All in all great accommodation.

From the first moment we saw the cottage, we felt at ease.

The Frog Pond Barn looks like a cute tiny house and has al the facilities you need. The furnishing is cosy and comfortable and made us feel at home instantly. A garden around the house and a good parking lot completes the picture. The only small point of improvement is the bathroom. It’s not really easy to take a shower. But we knew this before we came.

The Barn at Frog Pond Farm is set in beautiful countryside, the property is well equipped for our needs and was just what I needed following ill health.

There's lots of lovely walks close by and pubs with good food. The owner has created a folder listing all the local walks, pubs and places to visit. I thoroughly recommend this place for rest or walks and is central to some lovely towns.

A lovely barn conversion in a peaceful setting.

A very comfortable bed, slept well every night. Sofa could perhaps be more comfortable but not a big problem. We could find everything we needed except a pint glass! We found it to be in an ideal position for exploring the area, with most places of interest within about an hours drive. We would definitely recommend this property.

The most delightful place.

No traffic or street lights, the birds dawn chorus, every needed piece of kitchen equipment supplied and the very important peace and quiet. Plenty of information regarding The Barn and food pubs in the manual. The first impression when entering is very tidy, comfortable and welcoming. The gardens are private and very well attended to. A return should be a promise.

We had a lovely stay at The Barn - just what we wanted, a stay away from busy work to rest and relax.

A great welcome from Gail and the property was very clean, tidy and comfortable. We enjoyed following the route for your favourite walk that we found in your guest information folder. We also enjoyed your baked treat of banana cake and we did take advantage of your kind offer to pop the extra Frog Pond Farm apple juice in our bag to enjoy at back at home; that is delicious! Highly recommended, we really enjoyed it.

We enjoyed a fantastic week in The Barn.

Comfortable, relaxing and in such a peaceful location, but with so much to do and see on the doorstep or within a short drive. in fact we enjoyed it so much that on our drive home we booked to go again next year!

The Barn was a lovely place to stay, everything you needed was there.

Looking out the floor to ceiling window was awesome even on rainy days. So many places to visit within easy reach and by using the park and ride facilities made it easy. A warm welcome from the owners and very helpful.

We loved this accommodation it’s situation being deep in the countryside surrounded by wildlife .

No traffic noise only the dawn chorus which was amazing , we even had a deer looking in at us during an early breakfast.one morning. We will book this one again .

We loved our stay at the Barn.

A very comfortable and peaceful spot with plenty of visits close by including country walks direct from the barn. The pubs we ate at, all within 15 minutes, were excellent and Tisbury has most things needed shopping wise. The station at Tisbury has a good rail service east to Salisbury (10 mins) and other destinations west. The hosts were very helpful. The bath without shower and a few low ceilings need noting, but that understood, it's brilliant.

Very nice Barn in lovely quite setting in large grounds ideally situated for exploring the area ,only a few small negatives living area small ,bathroom has toilet in a position were it is difficult to stand in front due to sloping ceiling and apple tv is not very user friendly and kept losing signal.

Just a great little place to stay!

Perfectly situated in Wiltshire, with all the facilities you would need for two people, and very comfy, cosy and quaint. Will definitely be staying again!

This is a lovely cottage in an idyllic setting.

It was very clean & cared for by the owners. Facilities within the cottage were good, our only comment here, is perhaps a fan for occupiers use would be a welcome addition

The Barn was a perfect place to stay as it was quiet & secluded.

We travelled everyday to different places and it was nice to get back and eat out in the garden in the evening. We even had cake left for us on arrival - lovely touch.

The photos suggest it is slightly larger than it actually it, but it is more than adequate for two.

The bed, which is often a let down in rentals, is extremely comfortable. The barn is fitted out with everything you need and the garden is lovely. The owners are really friendly and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. I cannot praise this accommodation enough and will definitely be recommending this to family and friends. The Barn is in a peaceful location ideally situated for visiting many interesting places or for just enjoying local walks, such as to Wardour Castle , Fonthill Lake or to the top of Cranbourne Chase. At the end of the day just sitting in the garden was a delight! Thanks to Mark & Gail for sharing this lovely place with us & we look forward to returning.

We had an amazing week at the Barn. The location is perfect - peaceful, tranquil, with picturesque countryside around. Perfect to recharge the batteries. Excellent for walks. It's easily accessible by car, just a short drive to Shaftesbury or Salisbury. Local countryside pubs are lovely. A welcome pack from the owners was a delightful surprise. The property is very clean and tastefully decorated, the bed is comfortable, and the garden is absolutely charming. Thank you, Mark and Gail!

We really enjoyed our week at The Barn.

It is in a lovely location and the gardens are beautiful. The accommodation is very comfortable and well laid out. We loved the views of the sheep in the field outside the big window. The hosts were really helpful.

The Barn at Frog Pond Farm is simply delightful.

The conversion has been imaginatively carried out, the barn has been comfortably and tastefully furnished, and the maintenance and cleanliness are scrupulous. It is a lovely place to spend time, and an ideal base for experiencing the delights of Wiltshire and Dorset. Shaftesbury, Blandford Forum and Salisbury are all within easy reach, and the barn is surrounded by delightful villages with lovely country pubs. Oh yes, and Mark and Gail are delightful hosts! We couldn't have been happier, and we'd go back in a heartbeat.

Tranquility and peace is all we had when we stayed at the Barn at Frog pond Farm.

Very clean Thank you Gail and Mark for the cake, coffee . sugar and the flowers on the table. Could not have asked for anymore. The barn is also quiet private and secluded even though it’s on the same grounds with the owner la you still have your privacy. The use of key safe made it easier for us to check in and check out without having to wait for Gail and Mark. There is also a few shops and pubs in Tisbury . Would highly recommend to anyone wanting some peace and quietness

We had a lovely stay at The Barn, we were very warmly welcomed with some amazing biscuits and a loaf of bread, the barn was beautiful, so peaceful and just the break we needed as keys workers during COVID.

Great location with some lovely walks and we had a super day out in Bath which wasn’t too far away, would definitely come back again

We really enjoyed the peace and quiet.

The owners are around should you need anything and they are really nice people. The location is a bit remote but the area is beautiful with lots of brilliant walks. We really enjoyed how dark it got at night and the stars looked extra bright

A wonderful location and a luxurious place to stay.

All equipment and fittings were quality.

Beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean and the kitchen was really well equipped.

A loaf of delicious bread and a pint of milk in the fridge were a thoughtful touch, as were the fresh flowers. It's a quiet place within easy reach of some nice walks.

Cottage was very much as described, but local area is really lovely with lots of footpaths pretty much from the door.
