Description

Rustwood Manor is a charming retreat located in the village of Minety, Wiltshire.

Offering a characterful stay for couples, small families, or friends close to the Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

Arriving on site, you can park up with ease before taking in the first impressions of this neatly positioned cabin, set apart and self-contained, with a reassuring sense of privacy from the outset.

Stepping inside, you enter straight into an open‑plan living space where the seating area is arranged around an electric fire, creating a welcoming spot to settle into after your journey.

The space feels thoughtfully laid out, allowing you to move easily between relaxing, dining, and preparing meals without feeling confined.

Crossing the flooring, you arrive at the kitchen area, where an electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher, and washer/dryer are all neatly arranged and ready for use.

It is easy to imagine slow mornings here, making breakfast before heading out, or returning later in the day to prepare something warm and satisfying.

Three bedrooms, including a ground-floor king size double and a first floor king size double and twin offer a quiet place to retreat to once the day winds down.

A ground-floor shower room adds practicality without interrupting the flow of your stay.

Outside, the private garden becomes a natural extension of the hut.

With a combination of patio, gravelled, and lawned areas, it provides space to spend time outdoors throughout the day.

Garden furniture encourages relaxed meals in the open air, while the fire pit draws everyone together as evening settles in, offering a simple pleasure that suits the rural setting.

A village shop and a welcoming pub can be reached without travelling far, making it easy to stock up on essentials or head out for a meal.

Rustwood Manor offers a simple yet atmospheric base, blending private outdoor space with easy access to countryside, characterful towns, and the wider appeal of the Cotswolds.

The scoring system above does not reflect our general joy of the week away with my two ( over 70 and tiny) sisters.

The AI generated description does not prepare you for the compact nature of the accommodation.it was camping with an en-suite. Beds comfy. Property clean. Advertised for 6, weeks all felt this would be tricky. Only seating for 3 on L shaped sofa. No table - even to put your coffee cup on. We enjoyed it but a few extras might help - more hooks on doors for coats, remove useless set of drawers in downstairs bedroom and replace with shelves. Small folding table ..? Coffee table, every turnaround the kettle needs descaling. Dishwasher is suspect and too big for property - large plates don’t allow cleaning. Blinds at double doors. ? Deeper shower tray and a curtain. Small hose pipes on sink outside to aid cleaning dogs. We still had a great time

We stayed with our 4 children in August.

The conversion of the "manor" has been absolutely beautifully done and everything we needed for our stay was provided. The children absolutely loved the bedrooms and the walkway between them- the building and its surroundings are magical. The garden was a massive hit with meals outside and hours playing on the "steppy stones". We even managed to watch the perseids meteor shower. The owners and manager were absolutely fantastic and so responsive, even providing extra toys and books for our youngest children. It was our first time to the Cotswolds and we hope it won't be the last! Rustwood was a perfect base for us to see the picturesque villages, visit Leacock, Bowood and Bath.

Newly renovated this compact farm building has all you need for a break in the Cotswolds.

Situated between Cirencester and Malmesbury near the Cotswold lakes . Plenty of parking in this peaceful spot on a farm . An enclosed wild flower garden with a landscaped area for eating outside plus a fire pit area and a dog bath with hot and cold water which was very useful. The front door leads into a galley well equipped kitchen containing coffee machine, air fryer/micro combo toaster and top notch appliances. The shower was great . There’s a seating area leading to quirky stairs to the upstairs where there is a twin and double bedroom linked by a bridge. Downstairs off the lounge there is another very comfortable king size bedroom. It was immaculately clean and very comfortable beds. I would recommend it to friends and stay again. The host was really helpful.
