What guests are saying

This property has new owners, so hopefully they will address the issues that we experienced.

Good points: Generally well equipped kitchen (but no oven gloves or teapot); lots of storage spaces; variety of seating in the lounge; lots of sockets; village shop is very handy. Bad points: The front of the property is a shop yard with smelly bins, gas canisters and cardboard awaiting recycling; inside the cleanliness was skin deep - kitchen items were dirty or smeared and we washed anything we wanted to use; there was a smell of sweaty feet in the bed; internet didn't work; hole in the kitchen floor covered by a rug; many minor decorative fixes required; windows did not fully open; fire extinguishers showed 1/24 for last service date; departure time was 9am (we might not have booked if we'd known this) not 10am as advertised and no other departure instructions.
