Description
Rural Bliss Retreat is a pleasant glamping pod resting in Christian Malford, Wiltshire, with handy parking, a private decked area for outdoor living, and a wonderfully rural setting framed by farmland and stables.
Arrive and let the pace drop instantly; this is a studio-style retreat where everything you need is within easy reach, making it ideal for couples who’d rather spend their time outdoors than fussing over plans.
Step into the single-storey open-plan space and you’ll find a compact kitchen area with a microwave and fridge, alongside a sitting area and a double bed that keeps the layout simple and sociable.
When the day’s adventures are done, drift back outside and make the decking your favourite spot: light the barbecue, settle into the patio furniture, and watch the evening stretch out beneath a big sky, with the fire pit adding a gentle glow as the stars begin to appear.
With two well-behaved dogs welcome, it’s easy to turn everyday walks into something special, whether you’re heading out early with a warm drink in hand or wandering back at dusk with muddy paws and happy grins.
For easy provisions, you’ll find a shop close by, and when you fancy a change of scene, a pub sits within reach for a relaxed bite.
Ideally placed between the Cotswolds and the North Wessex Downs, the area lends itself to day trips: head to Chippenham for a change of pace and treat yourselves to Bowood House & Gardens for grand parkland and colourful seasonal gardens, then take a scenic drive to Cirencester to explore the Corinium Museum and wander the earthwork remains of the Roman Amphitheatre, before finishing with Corsham, where the gardens at Middlewick House open for memorable visits during public open days.
However you spend your time, Rural Bliss Retreat in Christian Malford, Wiltshire makes a fine base for a countryside escape.

Lovely glamping accommodation.
Very cosy , comfortable bed. Great location. Amazing animal neighbours.no light pollution and very quiet so very good sleep . Perfect for countryside walks .lovely pub nearby .
The people whom own run the site are amazing can’t do enough for you.
Hobbit how was lovely to small for two adults to Labrador dogs we could not sleep or breath. We phoned Sykes to tell them they were very rude and no customer care what so ever. We spoke to the people whom run the site they where brilliant and managed to move us for last three nights to another place Gabriel house this was brilliant. I always have used Sykes but their customer care is nothing short of a disgrace. Glamping and the owners first class site first class help first class so to you thank you the hard work you both put in to help is brilliant John
The accommodation was really clean bathroom was very clean it was a nice touch to have our own bathroom along with the towels.
The milk in the fridge was very welcomed also the tea sugar and coffee we could have a cup of tea while we were unpacking the car. The hobbit hole was a bit small for 2 dogs. Location was very peaceful and restful. We would definitely go again but book the green knoll for a bit more room
