The property

The Mill is a beautifully restored 18th-century woollen mill set within the expansive and tranquil grounds of Pandy Mill in Caergeiliog, on the Isle of Anglesey.

One of four thoughtfully converted properties on the site, this charming one-bedroom retreat is perfectly suited to couples seeking a peaceful escape surrounded by nature and history.

With the river Crigyll flowing gently through the land nearby and gardens famed for their spectacular spring daffodils, the setting feels wonderfully timeless.

Originally used for fulling wool cloth, The Mill has been carefully transformed into a spacious, two-storey holiday home that retains its historic character while offering modern, high-quality living.

Inside, the ground floor opens into a striking full-height open-plan living space that immediately gives a sense of light and openness.

The kitchen is well equipped for self-catering, featuring a cooker, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, kettle and toaster, making longer stays just as easy as short breaks.

A dining table sits comfortably within the space, ideal for unhurried meals, while the sitting area invites you to settle in on the large sofa and enjoy the Smart TV after a day exploring the island.

Upstairs, the crogloft bedroom overlooks the living space below and offers a generous king-size bed, creating a calm and welcoming place to rest.

The modern en-suite shower room completes the accommodation, finished to a high standard and designed with comfort and ease in mind.

Outside, guests are free to wander the beautiful grounds, listen to the river, and enjoy the changing colours of the landscape throughout the year.

Note: This property can be booked with Ref. 1192448, together sleeping up to four guests.

CAERGEILIOG

Trearddur Bay 5 miles; Rhosneigr 8 miles.

The small village of Caergeiliog is situated close to the wonderfully scenic west coastline on the Isle of Anglesey, between Trearddur Bay and Rhosneigr, both of which are very popular seaside villages. The area is truly beautiful - a great sweep of low grassy coastline indented with rocky coves and fine sandy beaches (European Blue Flag and Green Coast Award). Watersports, bathing, fishing, sailing, windsurfing and plane spotting at RAF Valley are the main activities in the summer months, and golfers will enjoy two excellent 18 hole links golf courses. It's a great place for nature lovers, with renowned birdwatching at the South Stack Lighthouse RSPB Reserve and at Valley Lakes, as well as lots of rock pools and scenic cliff top walks to explore. There are shops, pubs and restaurants in nearby Rhosneigr and Trearddur Bay, plus Holyhead offers a wider range of amenities, including a very good leisure centre, an interesting harbour front, a marina, the world’s second longest breakwater and exciting day trips to Dublin on the fast ferry. A great location with plenty to see and do!
