Description
2 Old Coastguard House is a quaint and characterful semi-detached dwelling resting on the coastal seafront, near the town of Beaumaris and ideally located next to the Anglesey Costal Path, making the property ideal for walkers.
Formerly this cottage was built to house the coastguard that served the nearby coastguard station and has far reaching views over the Menai Straits to Snowdonia and to the front of the property to Puffin Island and the iconic Trwyn Du lighthouse.
This elegantly dressed property is an ideal base for a family break to Anglesey and the Welsh coast.
Upon entering the dwelling, you are welcomed to a handy porch area, making the ideal spot for kicking of muddy boots before entering the beach-inspired property.
From here, you will enter a well-appointed kitchen/diner, completed with a fresh and neutral colour palette to complement the seaside theme and to provide a delightful area for hosting your family evening meals.
Relax within the well-presented sitting room, where you can curl up on the chesterfield sofas, which sit in front of a warming wood burning fire.
Moving through to the rear of the property, you will find a charming single bedroom and well appointed bathroom with shower.
French doors lead onto the patio and benefit from breath-taking sea views with the Snowdonia mountain range beyond.
Upstairs, you will discover an elegantly presented master bedroom, housing a king-size double bed with dual aspect views of both the lighthouse and Menai Straits.
Additional bedrooms include a boat inspired bunk room and a quaint twin bedroom, suitable for adults.
Completing the first floor is a luxury family bathroom, complete with a walk-in shower, basin and WC, finished with a touch of charm.
During the summer months, you and your loved ones can make the most of a spacious lawned garden or enjoy a glass of wine on the patio area during a pleasant evening.
For amenities you will find the local shop 3.3 miles away and a selection of historic pubs, hotels and shops within the centre of Beaumaris town.
The Pilot Cafe an award winning beachside licensed cafe is just 100 metres away.
Whilst staying here at Penmon Point, you can appreciate breath-taking views and some exciting wildlife, including dolphins!
Take a gentle stroll to the ancient Penmon Priory and Dovecote or enjoy more bracing walks along stretches of the coastal path in either direction.
Within a 15-minute drive you will reach the famous historic market town of Beaumaris, where you will be able to explore Beaumaris Castle, the Victorian prison Beaumaris Gaol or take a Puffin Island boat trip.
2 Old Coastguard House is a luxury dwelling, with delightful finishes to guarantee an unforgettable holiday to the coast.

Start of the week end of one storm and straight in to the next ,but warm and cosy even if you could hear the wind howling.
Put on our waterproofs and down to beach to watch the sea crashing on pebbles. At the end of the week lovely autumn weather but I wouldn’t have wanted to miss the storm, might have spoilt a stay inland but here on the coast spectacular . Views from every window and lovely huge garden, don’t forget if you stay to enjoy the view at night. Provides everything you need for the week plus a great welcome basket. Really missing the view.
Very cosy and homely.
Beautiful house. Amazing views. Perfect for relaxing and watching the waves. Even got to see the northern lights and the milky way..
What can I say, wow what an amazing place you have at Penmon Point and the views were special.
We had a great time staying at 2 Old Coastguard House. It had everything we needed and more. Many thanks for the welcome pack. Every room was lovely and so well decorated. Our dog loved your gardens and particularly loved to run around in the back garden. We really did not want to leave. Loved every minute and loved being back in Anglesey. Many many thanks. Regards Paul and Anna and George the Greyhound!
