So much to recommend and in a wonderful quiet location.
All very new and everything worked. However, the mattresses were very springy and too soft, the bedroom with the en-suite had the double bed pushed against the wall and was small so couldn’t be the master. The toilet downstairs has a tiny door - difficult to get in and close the door. There is nowhere to hang coats or put dirty walking boots. The beautiful open staircase has a Henry hoover standing there because there was nowhere else for it to go. No hair dryer so I bought one in Skipton! They have made such a beautiful job but a cloakroom or an entrance porch would have made all the difference.
Wood Cottage was the perfect place to stay for our trip to the Yorkshire Dales.
Very clean, modern and comfortable. The garden was completely enclosed and great for our dog who loved the freedom to roam there. The hot tub was excellent at the end of the day out exploring the area. Whilst there we visited Harrogate, Grassington, Janet’s Foss, Skipton, Ilkley and Lake Windermere all of which we would highly recommend. Even though it was the beginning of October and we had a few rain showers we were extremely lucky with the weather and had a lot of sunshine during our visit. North Yorkshire and the Yorkshire Dales are definitely one of the most beautiful areas of the UK. We will most definitely return.
Absolutely stunning place, everything there ie cooker , hob, fridges top notch.
Takes a bit to work out how to use but once read instructions abd used couple times it was easy. Large garden enclosed for dogs. Bedrooms lovely, everything there bar a potato mashher lol. Really enjoyed, went to bolton abbey and done the walk , done ingkeborough nature trail and caves with dogs, great place for dogs, though i wiuldnt walk round resivior which is a mile away up the farm rd as if you do cicular its very boggy abd you are led to betton next village so bit of a walk from there, but realky enjiyed our stay.
