  • "Great holiday cottage for two everything that you could and great welcome pack."

Good walking area and convenient for visiting Durham, Beamish etc. The only slight negative was the very slow Wi-Fi (although there was not problem watching the Netflix etc on the tv!) and the sofa seat cushions could do with new foam inserts. Apart from those two little niggles a great holiday cottage and would definitely consider going back to do some more walking in the area.

  • "The cottage was clean, cosy and very comfortable."

It has everything you need for a relaxing holiday and even though the weather was terrible, the heating was instant and the bathroom had an excellent shower. A great base for touring round the Dales and only an hour away from the coast. The owners have pretty much thought of everything and i have to say the hardest thing we did every day was getting out of the extremely comfortable bed!
