  • "The Cobbles is a lovely, cosy cottage."

    The location is wonderful - peaceful but right in the centre of Grassington with shops, pubs and walks on your doorstep. Pack light because the cottage is small, but it is perfectly formed and has everything you need.

  • "What a lovely cottage right in the middle of beautiful Grassington."

    Everything you could possibly want to make your stay comfortable. The bed and linen are 5star, one of the most comfy beds I've ever slept in. We enjoyed cosy nights in and eating out at the many restaurants, pubs and bars. The walks are great and right on the doorstep. If you do want to explore the Dale's it is a great base to travel out and about. As others have mentioned the wifi signal isn't great, which I couldn't understand why I could see very strong signals from nearby routers. Only a small point because why be on your devices when the outside is so beautiful. Looking forward to returning soon. PS our dog loved it

  • "We thoroughly enjoyed our week-long stay in The Cobbles: a charming little cottage in the very centre of Grassington."

    The semi-detached house is well-equipped for a couple, or a family with young children, and has been set up to be both stylish and functional. We loved the gas 'log fire' in the sitting room, but were less enamoured with wifi (weak, resulting in constant buffering), the shower (not sufficiently powerful) and the induction hob (the rings are temperamental, to say the least!). These are minor observations and each can easily be rectified. In summary, we recommend Grassington as a heavenly place packed with really lovely people and The Cobbles as a great base. Thank you for enabling us to enjoy both.

  • "A cozy chocolate box cottage in a picture post card village, perfect for our Xmas break."

    The cottage is finished to a high standard, well equipped and spotlessly clean. The village has an abundance of great pubs, cafes, excellent restaurants and great walks for all abilities. The only negative was the poor TV reception when streaming, but this does not detract from my 5 star review,

  • "Absolutely gorgeous cottage, we had a really lovely 2 night break."

    The Cobbles cottage has everything you need and more. Clean, warm and beautifully decorated and furnished. Well equipped kitchen, roaring fire and comfortable sofas. No need to take anything other than your own toiletries. The cottage is perfectly located right in the middle of the village. Had a wonderful walk along the river and visited the really nice pubs and cafes with great food close by. Can’t recommend highly enough, we will definitely back

  • "Wonderful little cottage with everything we needed for 2 adults a 4 year old and a collie dog."

    The milk, teabags and coffee pods left for our arrival were very welcome! Beautifully decorated and lovely comfy beds. There is no dedicated parking for the cottage but we used the provided permit to park in the car park just 5 mins walk away. And we also managed to get parked in the square ( free parking very close to the cottage) to drop off and pick up our bags so this wasn't a problem for us at all. Grassington is lovely and was a great base for us to explore the area. Thank you!

  • "The Cobbles is a beautiful oasis in a bustling town, all the local amenities are in walking distance, restaurants, a pub, lovely shops and cafes."

    The property was really nicely furnished, with everything required for a restful stay. The beds were comfy, the bathroom plush, and the kitchen was well stocked. We highly recommend this experience.

  • "Lovely cottage with all we needed for our holiday."

    Owner was easily contactable and very helpful. Located a few steps from centre of Grassington with all its lovely shops and pubs etc. We arrived at the end of there 1940s event. Wish we had been able to see all of it. Think it's held every year. Hope to get back again in future.

Grassington is one of the most charming villages in the Yorkshire Dales National Park. Traditional stone cottages and shops are clustered around the cobbled market place, offering exceptional shopping facilities for a village of this size, with a monthly farmer’s market offering a mouthwatering range of organic and homemade local produce. Situated on the River Wharfe, with the extensive Grass Woods to the north of the village, this is a superb walking area. Down dale is Bolton Abbey with the Abbey ruins, the Priory and the famous “Strid Walk”. A little further is the elegant town of Ilkley, overlooked by the famous Ilkley Moor. Up dale are Kettlewell and Buckden boasting spectacularly beautiful limestone scenery.
