  • "What a beautiful apartment."

We are currently staying with parents for a few months while our new house sale is completed. We loved the apartments so much we have rebooked for 2 more separate weeks to break up the time before we move into our new place. It truly felt like home from home. Has everything you could need and more. A refreshing stay and lovely to be right in the heart of Brontë country. We enjoyed watching the steam trains too.

Thank you for your lovely comments Abigail , so pleased to hear you enjoyed your stay. See you in February ! Property Owner

  • "We booked Over The Arch as a last minute break before Christmas."

The apartment is beautiful, clean, modern, with a super comfy bed! It has everything you could need and more. Having the Christmas tree up at this time of year also made it extra special and gave the aprtment a lovely feel. Debbie met us on arrival to show us around and explain the building and where to find everything locally! From the apartment you can see the old stream railway line which was great to watch. The High Street at Haworth was lined with lots of independent shops, pubs and cafés, everyone was very chatty and friendly. We had the best relaxing weekend! Thank you Debbie and Ben! We will be back in the future. Victoria and Ian

About the location

Skipton 13 miles; Hebden Bridge 8 miles.

The small village of Haworth was home to the famous Bronte sisters, who were inspired by the surrounding moorland to pen their novels, which have become classics of English Literature. Haworth is a village that time almost forgot, with its myriad of curiosity and antique shops, alleyways and cobbled streets creating a wonderful period atmosphere, all set against a framing backdrop of countryside famously described in the novel Wuthering Heights as wild, rugged and barren. Nearby, the famous Keighley and Worth Valley Railway, an authentic steam railway brought to prominence in the film The Railway Children, provides a lovely day out with a regular service to the old village of Oxenhope. The area abounds with popular places to visit, including the Bronte Parsonage Museum, East Riddlesden Hall, and the National Railway Museum in York. The market town of Skipton, often fondly regarded as the Gateway to the Yorkshire Dales, is just a short drive away, and also within reach are elegant Harrogate and vibrant Leeds and Manchester.
