Property: What a wonderful property Belle Vue is the bedrooms felt like hotel quality but comforting, and very spacious, the property has everything you require to ensure a comfortable stay including the bonus of free permit parking. Location: The property is in a very quiet residential area and only a 10 minute walk to the centre of Ilkley including the train station (handy to get to Leeds direct) and two supermarkets. Ilkley itself has numerous restaurants and bars which cater for all tastes. Overall - would I return to Ilkley and stay in this property 100% without a doubt - Thanks Andy for a lovely stay

We loved the two level flat.

Spotless, very comfortable, warm and well equipped. Close to all Ilkley has to offer. Station, Betty's tea room and a wonderful cinema nearby and of course lots of walks.

Wonderful stay ,everything you need for a comfortable stay ,the lovely Betty's cake left for us on arrival and the owner called to make sure we had everything for our stay which was lovely ,will definatly be back .

We had a great stay in this beautifully-appointed flat.

It is very handy for Ilkley; just a few minutes' walk from the train station, the town centre, the supermarket, etc. There is lots of room and tons of storage for a holiday flat. Many drawers remained empty as we didn't need to use them all, even though we were staying two weeks! The owners popped in to check that we had everything we needed and the neighbours were friendly. We hope to be back soon!

A great central location allowing me to easily walk to and explore everything that Ilkley has to offer.

Lovely spacious accommodation, a great base to visit the Yorkshire Dales from. My dog enjoyed it too!

A spotlessly clean holiday let that provided everything we needed to make our stay a memorable holiday.

A really good dog friendly apartment with a great area right outside the front door to walk your dog. Only a ten minute walk to the centre to town with loads of dog friendly coffee shops and friendly pubs. We meet Andy the landlord of the property and he was very friendly and helpful, we would not hesitate to recommend is holiday let to to any of our friends. We would not hesitate to recommend this

Excellent location; very comfortable accommodation with well equipped kitchen.

Property itself was excellent.

Owner also excellent. But, only one car parking permit! Four guests come in two cars, not one-- it was annoying to have to park our 2nd car several minutes walk away on a side street up the hill, when the Sykes listing had promised permit parking outside the property!

A lovely apartment close to the moor and the centre of Ilkley.

It was very convenient for Christmas with our family in Horsforth, Leeds. Quiet and comfortable and dog friendly.

This is a very comfortable modern utilitarian apartment.

Very well equipted. Good cooker and a range of pans for cooking. Comfortable beds with lovely smooth cotton sheets and duvet covers. Very spacious. Only minor problem was the fridge behind the kitchen door. If someone opened the kitchen door whilst the fridge freezer door was open the doors blocked each other. Otherwise the kitchen is excellent. Good washing machine, iron and ironing board and space to air washed clothes. The town house is within easy walking distance of the town centre which has many interesting shops and restaurants. The owner is easy to contact if you have any needs. We had a lovely stay. My husband needed time to relax between his chemotherapy sessions. He has days when he feels tired so this was a wonderful opportunity for him to stay in a relaxing environment that was very clean. On his better days it was easy to access local National Trust Historical sites by car. I would also recommend the Brookes Sri Lankan restaurant. Within walking distance if you want to have a drink. Brilliant large apartment.

Well placed for local amenities, Ilkley town and numerous walks around the moors. The owner was quick to respond to my questions before travelling, and friendly. Would book again.

Everything about Belle Vue apartment was excellent and even better than described on the website.

Andy was a fantastic host from helping us with a query before we arrived to checking by text during our stay to ensure that all was well. The apartment was spacious and all facilites in excellent order. Very comfortable beds and a very well equipped kitchen ensured a thoroughly enjoyable stay. The location of the Belle Vue was ideal too - a five minute walk into the centre of Ilkley and a 20/25 minute walk up to the magnificent Cow & Calf. We would be happy to recommend the property to family and friends and would make a return visit without hesitation

Very nice apartment we have everything we needed it was in a lovely spot close to all shops and very good for walking on your doorstep we will definitely be returning.

Can honestly say this is an amazing place to stay.

It has everything you need and more. Was quite touched by the welcome gifts. Beautiful kitchen with absolutely everything you need, comfy lounge and the ensuite bedrooms are fantastic. The weather was kind for us and the outside patio was great to sit in after a long day walking. Would not hesitate to book gain this apartment is a really gem definitely 5 star

Excellent stay at Belle Vue, the property was beyond what we expected, spotlessly clean with everything you could possibly want for your stay in Ilkley.

The location was ideal for all we wanted to do and we were able to park the car outside of the apartment. We will definitely be back but this time stay longer.

In a fantastic location just a short walk away from the town centre with plenty of shops and a artisan market every Sunday with plenty of food stalls for all you foodies. Plenty of walks for our four legged friends and dog friendly pubs and coffee shops dotted around the town. We would not hesitate to recommend this holiday let to anyone.

Beautiful space with everything for a very relaxing and comfortable stay.

Donna and Andy have such a high quality duplex appartment/townhouse, super comfy beds, nice and calm with the bedrooms on the lower ground floor but still plenty of natural light. Ensuites in both rooms add to the luxury and easy access to the communal garden ideal, if you have your dog with you. Only 5 minutes walk to the centre of Ilkley, with a wonderful choice of coffee places, restaurants, walks along the river, cinema, Ilkley Playhouse...a fabulous place to stay. Thank you!

The flat was well furnished and equipped and spacious.

It was very clean on arrival. There is also a lovely garden. It’s very convenient for a short walk into town but quiet. We applied for the car permit and this enabled us to park nearby. Overall we were very pleased with the accommodation and wouldn’t hesitate to rebook

Belle Vue is beautiful.

It's in a perfect location just a short walk into Ilkley. The property itself is lovely with everything you need for a comfortable stay and immaculate too. We would recommend to anyone without hesitation.

Stayed at Belle Vue for four nights between Christmas and New Year.

Apartment was spotless and warm. Everything and more you could need was there, very well equipped. Welcome gift was lovely and appreciated fresh milk being left. Location is great, five minute walk into town and good base for exploring the dales.

Belle Vue was excellent - comfortable, clean well equipped and in an excellent location for walking into town.

Great apartment.

Walking distance of shops, train and bus station. Great walks from door. No problem parking. Lido looked nice but didn’t visit as October.

This was an absolutely lovely place to stay!

Very clean and comfortable. The location is so convenient for Ilkley. It has a lovely big garden. We will definitely stay here again.

Belle Vue is a perfect location to both the town and the Moors.

On arrival we found Betty’s Lemon cake and milk in the fridge which was appreciated after a long drive. Access to the garden for our dogs was a added bonus and made us feel like a home from home. The apartment was absolutely spotless on arrival and the kitchen perfectly equipped with everything you need for a break. Andy the owner was extremely communicative on any questions and also called us to make sure everything was ok which was a really nice touch. Highly recommended. Thank you

I had a lovely stay .

Found parking an issue. Only had a small mini convertible and even then a bit of a squeeze. Neighbours also rang and said my car was in the way . There was maintenance work on two of the days of my stay so quite noisy and the front door was left banging. Difficult to adjust heating for downstairs. Very clean and perfect location.

Perfectly located for access to the town of Ilkley and it’s attractions.

Property was clean and tidy and well appointed with everything needed for a comfortable stay.

Excellent stay enjoyed by the family, Very well equipped kitchen, which we used only for breakfast as we dined out all of the time.

Everything was in good order with all the home comforts. Nice garden kept well. Ideal location short walk to the town, with the countryside on your doorstep. Owners very attentive and an eye for detail. Loved the stay.

A lovely well appointed apartment close to Ilkley and the Dales, beautifully provided with all one could need.

The lack of street parking closer than 100 metres downhill from the house on most occasions took the gloss off the holiday and one got the impression that local residents resented visitor parking permits ( simply obtained online as directed by the owners).Loading and unloading the car for daily excursions was a misery especially with a dog who needed a crate to travel. Ideal for those travelling to Ilkley by public transport.

Fabulous apartment in a brilliant location 5 mins walk to town.

Clean and welcoming with a treat left for us and our Labrador. Really can’t fault this property! A small inconvenience is there’s only one parking permit per unit but that was understandable due to limited spaces. We would highly recommend and will be back.

Excellent, Excellent! Great location, friendly owners when I called, great atmosphere, great apartment with everything we could possibly need and treats for us and the dog on arrival. This is a definite must and so much better than a non-descript hotel. We had a great time and need to come again. I rarely leave feedback but in this case it is very well deserved. A great apartment.

Pretty much everything has been thought of. The kitchen is fully equipped and everything is beautiful. The location is excellent. Met one of the owners, who was lovely. There are two en-suite double bedrooms downstairs, and a loo upstairs, so really easy to have your own space. The living room is roomy, as is the kitchen.

We had a lovely week here and the house was absolutely perfect.

Great, central location, parking usually available close to the house (once a free permit was obtained online) and everything was of a high standard and well-equipped. The only issue we had was the bedrooms (in the basement) were very difficult to warm up (very cold when we were there) as the thermostat is based in the hall way at ground floor level. Andy was very responsive and helpful but it would be a good idea to get this sorted out. We'll definitely book to stay here again on future visits to Ilkley though as it's a great place.

The accommodation is very comfortable, quiet, well equipped and clean.

I didn't cook anything as it is very conveniently located to walk into Ilkley and would be quite easy to get to by train. There were no parking problems. Being a dog owner the green at the front of the property was very useful. Very close to the moors.

A modern comfortable super clean duplex apartment in a perfect location with which to explore the Ilkley area.

You can walk into town and up onto the moor in five minutes. Access the moor by taking the public footpath to the left of the Craiglands Hotel (one of many options). The owner is very responsive and super helpful if you have any queries.

Lovely spacious property in idyllic central location.

Spotlessly clean, comfy beds, large TV and the owner went to the effort of putting up a Christmas tree which we were very grateful for. Lovely welcome gifts also. Thank you for a great stay.

This is our second visit to this beautiful property.

One of the nicest and most comfortable properties we have stayed in. Excellent amenities and very centrally situated to the town or to the many wonderful walks in and around Ilkley. The owners have made sure you have all you need to make your stay enjoyable. The two bedrooms with en suites add a touch of privacy and luxury too. We will be looking forward to our next visit hopefully soon.

A really nice flat and close to town.

Have stayed in Ilkley many times before but nice to be there for a week - plenty to do and loads of restaurants, pubs etc. Good base for exploring the Dales and good train service for going to Leeds or elsewhere.

Belle Vue is a wonderful apartment, 10 minute walk from Ilkley town and the moors.

Very well presented with quality fixtures and fittings. Lovely welcome gifts from Betty's tearooms for us and treats and ball for the dog. Exceptionally clean, just our style not too frilly or fussy, but homely. Didn't need to bring any extras, very well catered for with coffee, teas, loo rolls, cleaning and washing liquids etc. Comfy beds and powerful showers. Only slight complaint is that the WiFi could be better at peak times. Would happily stay again and would recommend to anyone! Ilkley is a lovely location, didnt move the car once, walked from the flat all week. (P.S. - Parking is free, you just follow the instructions in the apartment to register your car - very easy to do!)

Fab base to explore Ilkley which has wonderful cafes and the countryside surrounding it.

Self catering with a Dominos and Pizza Express very close and an M&S foodhall for a wider choice!

An excellent place to stay, to explore Ilkley and the surrounding areas, and just a short walk from the centre of town and train station.

With its many differing cafes, bars, shops and restaurants all tastes are catered for. The apartment itself was of a very high standard and spotlessly clean and has more than enough wardrobe / cupboard space. Parking is available opposite the apartment, by obtaining a free ‘virtual’ parking permit, online (full and easy instructions of how to do this are supplied in the extensive welcome pack). We would not hesitate to return to Belle Vue the next time we holiday in the area.

The apartment was totally brilliant, right up to leaving milk and biscuits for us.

We think this home owner went the extra mile and we really appreciated it. Our little dog Evie really enjoyed her welcome pack too. Thank you! We didn’t enjoy Syke’s cheeky non-upfront ‘booking fee’ which came as a surprise at check-out meaning they competed unfairly with other cottage companies we were looking at. Because of the circumstances of needing to book somewhere we swallowed the fee to make the booking but basically all of the hidden charges added 25% on top of the baseline booking. £400 ish became £500 ish. Quite a hike. So in summary, we loved the accommodation but not the agent’s practice.
