    Serenity cottage had everything we needed for a relaxing few days away. Peaceful setting, Spotlessly clean, really comfy beds, lounge area spacious and light with fantastic views. Easy access to the coop shop in the village. Parking outside the cottage easy. Booking and information regarding cottage access all no problem. We would definitely recommend serenity cottage and hope to return in the near future.

  • "Serenity Cottage was the perfect little bolthole for an exploration of Yorkshire."

    It's wonderfully situated on a hill, with open outlook and with easy access into the local village where there is a well-stocked supermarket, chemist, pub etc. The cottage itself is charming and a truly special place. Beds were supremely comfortable; it was always a warm and cosy space, and the kitchen was well-equipped if you like to cook. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to others.

  • "Wow! Best cottage we’ve ever stayed in, and that's plenty."

    Felt at home the minute we walked in. Bed was super comfy. Beautiful decoration. Loved the bath & log burner, 2 must haves for winter. Excellent bus service within 5 minute walk. We didn’t take the car out all week.

    We had such a relaxing and enjoyable time. The view out from the lounge was exceptional, and to watch a horse frolicking outside our window was especially lovely. We truly appreciate your hospitality and the care you've put into making the cottage so comfortable.

  • "Excellent cottage to spend a long weekend."

    Easy to walk into Haworth or Oxenhope , and I walked to Bronte Waterfall from the cottage, which was a lovely walk. Facilities really good, beds very comfortable and loved the views from lounge and main bedroom. Would recommend and stay again next time im visiting my mother.

  • "We enjoyed our stay at Serenity Cottage."

    The views from the patio were spectacular. The cottage was comfortable and clean. Although on a road it wasn't noisy and it was quiet of a night. Parking was outside but no problem. Easy walk into Haworth and supermarket in Oxenhope. Bus stops nearby. Just a few mild niggles, the bedroom at the back overlooking the field would benefit from blackout curtains or a blind as the light shines in early mornings. Also there was no adequate wardrobe space in that room. We would certainly stay in the cottage again in the future.

Oh how I would love to have a full length wardrobe in the main bedroom unfortunately there just isn’t the space, so I compromise with the hanging rail in the large cupboard and the wardrobe in the second bedroom, I’m sorry that it was a bit of an issue. Ive noted about the Venetian blinds, yes I know they are not blackout in that main bedroom, not something I’ve ever really thought about because the sunrises can be so gorgeous, apologies for the early light. The property

Serenity Cottage is a charming rural retreat situated between the picturesque villages of Oxenhope and Haworth, West Yorkshire.

Boasting a cosy wood burning stove, Smart TV and stunning countryside views, this delightful abode offers a perfect setting for small families or friends seeking a tranquil getaway amidst the rolling hills and scenic landscapes. Pull up to this picturesque cottage.

Upon entering you will be met with the kitchen/diner, where you can prepare delicious meals to be enjoyed at the dining table, whilst you plan your days ahead.

The sitting room, complete with Smart TV, a selection of books and a warm wood burning stove, is perfect for those evenings in after exploring all that this beautiful area has to offer.

The first floor hosts two bedrooms.

As the sun descends, climb the stairs to find your beautifully appointed double bedroom, tranquil and calm, boasting lovely views of the paddock, Oxenhope village and the surrounding countryside.

A second bedroom hosts a welcoming small double and a calm space for an additional guest.

Completing this floor is a bathroom with bath tub, shower over, basin, heated towel rail and WC.

A soak in the bath with salt or bubbles is the perfect way to unwind, whether you have been trekking the moors to Top Withins or exploring the many tourist sites.

The small village of Oxenhope lies amid wonderful scenery, and offers the chance to take advantage of the multitude of walks in the area. The village, with its shop, church and pubs, is home to the terminus for the Keighley and Worth Valley Railway, an authentic steam railway brought to prominence in the film The Railway Children, which runs on a regular basis to Haworth and on down to Keighley. The area was made famous by the Brontë sisters, and the outstanding countryside was famously described in Emily Brontë’s novel Wuthering Heights as wild and rugged. The area abounds with popular places to visit; the charming village of Haworth, trendy Hebden Bridge, historic Halifax and its Piece Hall, the Museum of Rail and several National Trust properties. The market town of Skipton, known as the Gateway to the Yorkshire Dales, is only a short drive away, and also within reach are elegant Harrogate and vibrant Leeds.
