Lovely cottage.

Spotlessly clean. Comfy and cosy. Everything you need for a perfect break. Very friendly and helpful owner thanks Graham.

The property was extremely clean and well maintained.

The host was friendly and available, but didn't hover or intrude. I would definitely recommend this property for a quiet get away!

Graham was a super welcoming host and the cabin was spotless when we visited in October.

There is excellent car parking and the farm being well sheltered we had a good sleep every night. This area has an abundance of good pubs and restaurants to eat in so the absence of a cooker was a bonus for my wife Margaret. We would highly recommend Toms cabin and hope to return in the future.

Although the property details were pretty accurate, it was a surprise how small it was.

Everything felt very cramped. There was nowhere to eat at a table inside without moving furniture and the bedroom was tiny and had very limited hanging and storage space.. The mattress felt like a chunk of foam and was uncomfortable. The bathroom was nicely fitted out with a walk in shower but the entrance into it was too small and you had to get in sideways. The kitchen had a range of equipment (although no dishwasher) but was lacking somewhere to drain dishes on the work surface. We used a tray under the plate drainer that was supplied. We had to go out and buy tea towels to dry the plates etc. The property was difficult to find from the Google Maps details given by the owner. Disappointing.

Tom's cabin was lovely and clean ideal for a couple of days.

Accuracy of the location was not where it appears on Sykes drop pin. You definitely need a car to get into Knaresborough which was very disappointing. It is actually in Scotton about 45 minutes walk, partly on roads with no pavements.

Tom’s Cabin is a lovely place to stay.

It is clean with everything you need. The Gentleman who greeted us was very friendly and helpful. This cottage is a great base for Knaresborough, Harrogate and Ripon. National trust Fountains Abbey,Nunnington Hall, Rievaulx Terrace. English Heritage Rievaulx Abbey is well worth a visit. Would highly recommend this cottage.

Tom's Cabin is well laid out for two people, with a compact kitchen area, a comfortable lounge with TV and wi-fi, a compact bedroom and bathroom with a good shower.

The dining area is an outside deck, which was fine for the good weather we had. It would be possible to eat in the lounge area. Heating was by very effective electric wall heaters. The location was rural and quiet. It was ideally located for visiting Knaresborough, Harrogate, Harlow Carr, Fountains Abbey and further afield.

A very centrally located and comfortable ground floor accommodation.

This was a lovely place to stop, 10min drive into Knaresborough and 20 min to Harrogate.

The cabin has everything you need, very clean and tidy. Owner is very friendly and helpful. Can't think of anything to fault. We went it March so evening drawn in early, which put us off walking into Knaresborough. This was mainly due to location, and part of the way has no footpath or street light. Would of been happy to do it in the summer. So we drove into town and did walks from there. Finally Satnav location stops you short of the location, its only a further 2mins in the car, just look for the Port Arthur Farm sign on the sign of the road. 10/10 would be happy to stop there again

Tom’s was very cosy and had everything you need for stay. Parking good. The directions and post code given by Sykes was rubbish sent us down a muddy lane and got us lost. Luckily we contact the owner who gave us help. Sykes sort out your directions!!

Everything was spot on. Graham went out of his way to come and find us as we got lost on arrival, nothing was ever too much trouble . Top bloke. Toms cabin is ideal for two, cosy, all needs met , and everything was only a short drive away.. Will definately stay again 5 star.

Lovely stay in Tom's Cabin.

Located on a farm near Knaresborough, it was the perfect location for the places we wanted to visit - RHS Harlow Carr, Fountains Abbey and Harrogate. The property was clean and comfortable and the owner was very welcoming and made sure that we had everything that we needed. Would definitely recommend.

Tom's Cottage has everything we need for a short holiday, is warm and comfy, with excellent parking. A friendly, helpful, but unobtrusive, host is another bonus.

It was a lovely location in beautiful surroundings and ideal for Knaresborough, Harrogate and Ripon.

I had a fantastic stay in Tom's Cabin, it was a lovely warm and comfortable short stay in lovely area not far from anywhere.

The owner was very welcoming and helpful when the satnav didn't quite get me there, he showed me around the lovely cottage, the kitchen even though basic had plenty of space for storage the cooking facilities basic, no cooker but there was a hotplate microwave and air fryer so not a problem, shower great and hot water in abundance. Even though the bed was low it was perfectly comfortable, sofa in the lounge a little hard but there was a very cozy chair everything was new and very clean and nicely decorated, carparking area outside the door that was great, I had a great stay and will use it again.

We had a very relaxing short break and complete peace and quiet in this cosy, tastefully furnished and extremely clean cottage in a beautiful part of the country.

Owner Graham is really welcoming too. The cottage has everything needed for a short stay, the bed is comfy, and there is plenty of drawer storage space. It was fab that for once we didn't have to navigate around sizable amounts of old paperbacks, stacks of board games and an array of ornaments when unpacking our belongings. There's plenty of storage space for food as well. The description does not really do this cottage full justice, e.g. there is free wifi and Netflix, and a power socket in the living area has USB ports, as do the bedside lamps in the bedroom. Whilst there is no cooker (which we knew beforehand and didn't need), there is a plug-in double hotplate in one of the kitchen cupboards. Just a heads-up for anyone on the larger side: it can be a bit of an adventure for more voluptuous guests to try and squeeze through the little gap at the side of the shower screen, which is firmly installed in situ (going by the online photograph, we had assumed that this would swing open). The shower itself is absolutely divine though. We returned home totally relaxed and would gladly stay in one of Graham's properties again.

Lovely, quiet, comfy, warm, cosy and with good parking.

We alreadyknew the cooking facilities were basic but, since we ate out (no hardship with all the restaurants, cafes, pubs, etc. in Knaresborough & surrounding area) and only snacked in the evening, it was fine for us. The shower and the heating are first class. Graham was welcoming, very helpful and gave us useful advice on places to visit, parking etc. We certainly hope to return.

Not suitable for long term use, lack of comfort, , small fold up bistro table wouldn’t go a miss as nowhere to sit and eat a meal ,an upgrade of cutlery as what’s available is cheap and flexible,limited view, no freezer, no washing machine, poor internet, toilet seat is a usual for bb accommodation I.

e. cheap plastic twist and slides don’t stay up, caution leaving shower through small gap with a high step down to floor , valve for money, Questionable,

The cottage was ideal for 2 with everything that we needed.

In beautiful condition and very peaceful. We would definitely return.

Well placed for touring North Yorkshire. You definitely need a car as a little bit out of Knaresborough.
