Magnolia Cottage

An ideal holiday home in a good location and with the added bonuses of off road parking and a nice garden to sit in.

The hosts were very welcoming, friendly and it was a pleasure to stay in their property.

It had all you needed. Listed accurately. Very close to the market square. We really enjoyed our stay there.

Magnolia cottage is ideally situated in Masham, within walking distance to pubs , restaurants and the few shops that are there.

The small inclosed garden is lovely and peaceful with tuneful bird song , especially in the morning. I have a couple of moans; the mattress was very firm, making a good night’s sleep almost impossible and the bedding ( pillows and duvets), were all feathers. A bit prickly and tricky if you’re asthmatic as feathers can bring on an asthma attack.

A lovely comfortable well equipped cottage in pleasant surroundings with plenty to do and see.

Would definitely visit again.

Lovely warm restful cottage.

Quiet yet close to the heart of the town centre. Great to have it's own car parking space. A few basic maintenance issues - two dining chairs had loose legs! And the bathroom fittings needed five minutes with a screwdriver. We'll look forward to another visit.

Lovely property, perfectly located in Masham, easy to find and great as a base.

Really useful having the parking space at the front. Had pretty much everything we needed, clean and comfortable, with lovely beds and bedding.

A lovely chocolate cake to welcome us. The cottage is clean and comfortable with a Magnolia tree in the back garden. It was just coming into flower when we were there. The garden is a suntrap, so lovely to sit out there. Added bonus is off road parking. There are lots of walks directly from the Cottage, they are all shown in the file you will find there. It's worth a visit to the Devil's Temple, but the roads could be a bit hazardous during peak holiday periods. Hackfall Woods is another good place for walking, boots definitely needed. Both of these are only a short drive away. Thank you to the owners for providing such a lovely cottage.

What a lovely cosy cottage situated just a few minutes walk from the Market Square.

Very well equipped to a high standard with a walk-in shower/wet room. Ideal for anyone who has difficulties using a bath. The owner is very friendly and helpful, and lives next door.

We really enjoyed our week in the cottage and would definitely stay again.

The owners trimmed it up for Christmas and left us a big box of chocolate biscuits and a very good bottle of wine. Thank you so much. We had lots of walks from the cottage and visited our daughter who lives nearby. Perfect week away,a Christmas treat for us both.

This was a lovely pretty characterful cottage in a great location, which has very good facilities for someone in a wheelchair like myself.

Wide doors, level access throughout, wet room. Parking space was large enough to get out and into a wheelchair. Lovely enclosed and accessible garden. The owners were very friendly and just next door. There was a lovely chocolate cake waiting for us on arrival! Would highly recommend to anyone and especially those with mobility issues.

Lovely cottage, adjoining the owners house, in the heart of the village.

The owners were very kind and helpful. There was parking for our car Infront of the cottage and it was just a very short walk to the shops and the pubs. A super place to stay.

The place was spotless with good quality furniture. A great location for exploring the Yorkshire Dales - friendly host too.

Masham was a lovely little village, cottage was nice and close to the village centre for walking across for evening meals.

Highly recommend the fish and chip take away too! Magnolia cottage is a lovely little cottage, very clean and comfortable place to stay. Lovely little garden, so nice to be able to sit out for breakfast. A couple of comfy recliner garden chairs would have been nice for relaxing in, however, the cushions provided for the patio chairs were perfectly comfortable. Lovely comfortable bed, slept well (despite the hot weather) and it was nice to have the fan as an added comfort extra. Thoroughly enjoyed our short break here.

Property was very well presented and comfortable and provided a great base for a short break in Masham.

Very convenient for all the local amenities. Just a couple of suggestions - some hand soap in the bathroom, and some paper towel for the kitchen would be welcome additions.
