3 Barn Cottages

Warm and comfortable accommodation for a chilly holiday week in February.

We stayed at 3 Barn Cottages whilst visiting friends and family in Yorkshire (we now live in Sydney, Australia).

From the moment we entered the property we were made to feel very welcome, with lovely touches of fresh flowers, fruit, biscuits and milk in the fridge. The cottage was spotless and well equipped and felt truly like a home from home for us to relax during our stay. Laundry room on site is really useful too, especially when travelling with teenagers! Norwood Green is a fantastic location to explore, surrounded by beautiful Yorkshire countryside and great local pubs. We will be back! Thank you Catherine for your hospitality.

The cottage itself was lovely with everything needed for a comfortable stay beautifully furnished and spotlessley clean lovely views from the front aspect The downside was the fact that my husband was in a wheelchair and our allocated parking space was not good the space itself was fine but the approach to it was very rough uneven ground with a few pot holes which made getting the wheelchair across quite dangerous at times it almost toppled over at one stage with him in it he got a bit fed up with it eventually so we came home two days early so unfortunately although it was a lovely cottage anyone who is wheelchair bound I wouldn't advise a visit

The cleanliness, fresh flowers, milk, welcome note and biscuits were really appreciated. The property had everything we needed for a short term or long term stay. We hugely enjoyed our stay, and Barn Cottages exceeded our expectations. The location is perfect and provided a great base to explore the area. We will be back soon!

It was spotlessly clean, very comfortable and tastefully decorated, and the thoughtful touches of roses, fruit, tea, coffee and milk were a lovely surprise. Thank you. ❤️

Fabulous clean and comfy cottage with a lovely walkable distance to a couple of pubs, recommend the Old White Beare.

The view pictured of the horse in field is only from the communal front entrance rather than from inside the property, our only slight disappointment. Quality of this perfect accommodation overcame that easily !

We were very happy with the cottage as it was very clean and had all the items needed to make our stay very comfortable.

I would recommend a grab rail and if possible a chair in the shower for accessibility. The host was very helpful and the location was very handy for touring around the area, we were there to to visit my sister who lives local

A fabulous immaculate and well equipped modern barn conversion.

Very warm and cosy. Lots little extras from very friendly owners. Short drive of 3.5 miles to centre if Halifax. Would highly recommend for a short break.

A lovely property well appointed and superb quality fixtures and fittings.

The kitchen was well equipped and everything was of top quality. It was very peaceful and quiet and I slept extremely well. Thank you for the extra touches we had on arrival.

Really easy to get hold of when we ended up being later than planned due to roadworks. Fantastic location for us. We had dinner at Pear Tree pub at the top of the road. The staff in there again we're super nice.

This is the first time I have done a review and we have stayed at a lot of cottages over the years, what impressed us the most was the cleanliness, the cottage is well equipped, everything was delightful
