  • "Compared to a lot of properties we have stayed in this was quite basic."

    There was no radio/CD player, the TV only worked on catchup and Netflix, no live TV. The fan did not work in the shower room. There was no hanging space in the twin bedroom. Many properties that are dog friendly do have at least dog bowls in case visitors forgot to take their own. General decoration was rundown and in need of updating. The one good point was that there was allocated parking.

    In a great location and was so clean , comfortable and had everything we could possibly need. A coffee machine with pods and a log burner with logs to start us off. Lovely fluffy towels and even a bath . We even had our own private parking opposite. Would definitely book again. Thanks for a lovely stay .

    Good to have it's own parking. Well equipped (we'd have liked to have a few more knives and forks to save putting the dishwasher on so much). We had a slight problem with the heating and James came straight out and sorted it for us). Love the village, great spot for walking out and about.

    Kitchen had everything we needed to self cater. 2 bathrooms were clean and spacious. Parking space really handy but with our bigger car would not have got 2 cars in easily. Great communication about the booking through out. Perfectly positioned to explore the local area. Close to Brimham Rocks, How Stean Gorge ( Gorge walking was excellent), Stump Cross Cavern ( go later in the day when you use the UV torches). Worth the drive out to Ingleton waterfalls trail too.

  • "This cottage was a real home from home with everything you need for a comfortable stay."

    The location was ideal, i would just point out we couldn't get 2 x cars in the allocated spaces as we drive a big suv but 2 x normal cars would fit. Its ideal for Ripon, Harrogate and loads of local walks right from your doorstep. There were enough dining options in town which is a 2 min walk away so ideal really. We had a fantastic week there and the weather was hot so what else could you ask for

    It was close to the Main Street and had parking for two cars near by. Inside was well appointed. Freezer could have been bigger. Our main gripe was the state of the back yard and no outside furniture to sit at front of property. Nice features inside including nespresso machine with lots of pods.

    Also very quiet at night so slept really well. The parking spaces are really useful. Two small improvements would be somewhere to hang coats, especially if damp outside and a small coffee table maybe.
