Very comfortable with everything you need for a great stay. The weather was great and the owners were very helpful taking good care of us. Plenty to see and do locally and had a great day out on the worth valley railway steam train.

This property has both style and substance.

We loved the quirky nature of it, and the attention to detail and thought that had gone into everthing. The bed was comfortable and it was the quietest place I think we've ever stayed at so if you want a peaceful break in a great location with everything you need we would highly recommend The Saltpot.

This accommodation was so nice.

Very quirky but fully equipped with everything you could need. The surrounding countryside is spectacular and it was lovely to be able to hear curlews regularly and the odd hoot of an owl. The hosts were very helpful and friendly (as were their dogs Bella and Delilah). I would have no hesitation in recommending this accommodation to others.

We would like to thank the owners Rebecca and Alec for being so welcoming and accommodating. The decoration is a really good mix of country charm with a quirky twist. from the beautiful cast iron radiators to the ingenious bespoke taps and fittings. it is perfectly equipped with everything you could need for a stay. They even provided fresh eggs from their own hens. We can not recommend staying here highly enough. We will definitely stay again if we are in the area. Chris & Niki

Fell totally in love with Salt Pot cottage

A beautiful cottage, the owners have clearly taken their time to make this a unique place to stay.

It’s well equipped, a wonderfully cosy cottage with a lovely log fire, and a fabulous infrared sauna to relax in. With stunning views across the Yorkshire countryside and is close to places like Haworth with the Bronte Parsonage and Steam Worth Valley Railway, Cliffe Castle, East Riddlesden Hall, Skipton Castle, Bingley Five Rise Locks, UNESCO Heritage site of Saltaire and Salts Mill, easy access to the Yorkshire Dales and places such as Malham Cove, Gordale Scar, Grassington etc. The owners were kind and considerate, and contacted me before arrival about the condition of icy roads with updates during our stay. They live next door to the cottage, but it’s very private, but they are on hand if anything needed. Would definitely recommend this wonderful cottage.

Lovely first impressions with a very welcoming lit Christmas tree and warmth.

In winter without Xmas tree could have been rather dark in the day although there were plenty of lights. Quirky well describes the cottage which was such an enjoyable experience. Hubby keeps commenting on the excellent quality of the soldering of all exposed copper pipes which added to the ambiance and pleasure of staying there. In spite of weather we really enjoyed our stay and may return.

We had a delightful stay at The Salt Pot.

Every tiny detail has been thought of and the everything managed to be functional and beautiful at once. Comfortable bed and lovely hot, powerful shower. We enjoyed using the woodburner and the sauna was fantastic for warming through after a day out exploring in the November icy weather! The Salt Pot is really well equipped and clean, with little details such as fresh farm eggs, soap and biscuits being much appreciated. We loved the stunning views. Really appreciated the owner getting in touch to offer to provide a travel cot and sheets for our baby, as we had been prepared to bring everything we needed. We didn't want to leave! Thank you for a wonderful stay.

All the facilities you need to make your stay really great. The bed and duvet were so comfortable a lot of thought has been to make you feel at home. A great place to explore Yorkshire.

You can clearly see the love that has been put into every detail. Everything you needed for a comfortable holiday and parking space just outside your door was a bonus. The Salt Pot was the perfect place to stay for a quiet and peaceful break.

The scenery is stunning, really nice to wake up to lamb’s gambolling in the fields close by. The accommodation is really quirky in a positive way and a thoroughly enjoyable place to spend a week in. Also very thoughtful of the host to leave fresh eggs (which I had for breakfast) and other goodies. I dined at the nearby Grouse Inn just a short drive away which I would recommend. Thankyou

On arrival the property was found to be not just charming and very quirky, but incredibly clean and well equipped.

Although very remote in the Yorkshire Moors it is still within easy reach of the main town of Keighley, also Bradford and Skipton. The owners made us most welcome and were there to help with anything we required. They have a very friendly cat and two charming dogs. Walkers will find this place especially attractive, however that was not our mission. We will certainly return next year.

Set in a beautiful location with wonderful views. Spotlessly clean. A super comfortable bed. An amazing shower! Well equipped with everything we needed for our break. Would definitely recommend this cosy, well presented, quirky home.

Had a lovely relaxing week at The Salt Pot so much so we didn't want to leave at the end!

Lovely location with stunning views and even though it is near the owners home it is still private. It was fun looking for all the quirky items in each room - everything has been thought through to make it a really relaxing stay. We hope to return one day.

Although we never got to meet the owners they are wonderfully caring people, We look forward to visiting in the future

Ideally situated for Yorkshire Dales and Lancashire. The owners were very hospitable and there if you needed them but not intrusive. The cottage is very quirky with lots of novel touches. We can recommend The Salt Pot and would like to go back. Julie and Steve

The Salt Pot was a beautiful cottage, homely, warm, Comfortable and everything provided!

The owners were on site at all times if you needed anything or advice (places to go, directions etc) Nothing was a problem! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and want to return in the future and will recommend this little gem to friends and family

It’s a wonderful place to stay we have stayed here twice now and would definitely recommend staying here.

The place is in a great central location to use as a base to go and visit the likes of Haworth, hebden bridge and Skipton. It was great to see the improvements they have made since last year. If you are an animal lover it’s a must too meet Byron the cat who has a tendency to just walk in when your back is turned and the two loveable dogs Bella and Delilah. Can’t wait to come back again next year!

We had a very nice, relaxing stay at The Salt Pot.

The owner was extremely helpful after our Sat-Nav crashed. The views are so beautiful, views of the moors are breathtaking. There are many facilities in the area. We did manage to visit many of them during our stay. The cottage is very well equipped. There are even a couple of fans in the cottage. The heating is extremely efficient. You only need it on for a short time and the radiators stay warm for ages. There is also a gas cooker, (LPG) I do prefer a gas cooker. The whole week was very relaxing and enjoyable. Thank You very much.

Fantastic and slightly quirky place in a wonderful part of the country.

The owners are lovely people and we enjoyed seeing their dogs and cat. I would highly recommend it if you want somewhere for peace and quiet.

This is a wonderful holiday property.

It's full of high end specifications and appliances and has been designed to a great finish. Comfortable, clean, amazing views and very peaceful. I booked the property to get some writing done and it was ideal for that. Run by a lovely couple who are there should you need them but in no way intrusive. Perfect if you really need to get away from it all. Very much recommended.

Just returned from a wonderful holiday in Salt Pot Cottage on Pepper Pot Farm.

We were tucked into the hillside and totally surrounded by lush green fields, stone farm houses and barns, trees and moorlands.Fantasic views from the cottage. The cottage is within easy reach of some of the most notable places in the region e.g. East Riddlesdon Hall and Howarth. The owners were so kind and helpful and obviously pride themselves on ensure guests are comfortable and cosy and have a memorable holiday.

This is a little gem.

The owners, Rebecca and Alex live in the farmhouse by Salt Pot. They have put a lot of thought and creativity in restoring this cottage. It is very quirky! The views are stunning, looking out over Haworth Moor. This place welcomed us and we relaxed.

Everything we needed was there.

Very comfortable bed, the property has been very well thought out. Home from home feel about the place, very quirky . We would stay again, and couldn't have stayed an extra week. Highly recommended.

Absolutely fallen in love with the place. The peace and quiet, the beautiful surroundings, and the cottage itself being so wonderfully furnished and decorated. Perfect.

We only had 2 nights and wish we had booked 2 weeks.

Fabulous cottage with great outlook in very quiet location.

Out of the way but not too far to local amenities and pubs etc - totally recommend the Fleece in Hawarth! Cottage itself was immaculate and had everything you could need with the most comfortable bed you could wish for. Only saw the hosts once or twice as they take a back seat, which is fine but, they were very nice and are there if you need them. Hoping to return in the future.

We had a wonderful few days at the cottage and it definitely had everything we needed and more.

The quirkiness and setting set it off from anywhere we have stayed before. The surroundings were so scenic and peaceful and yet you are not far from Howarth, Keighley and the Worth valley railway and other places of interest. The cottage was spacious and yet cosy and each time we returned there was something we hadn't spotted before. Amazing use of copper and such a vast kitchen with both retro and modern items. The added bonus of the log burner made for very cosy evenings and the sauna unit in the bedroom with its lovely coloured lighting is definitely a relaxing space. Rebecca and Alec were the perfect hosts and on hand for anything we needed throughout our stay. We wouldn't hesitate to book again and hope we can return in the not too distant future. Thank you

The Salt Pot is a delightfully unique cottage.

It has lot of quirky interesting features which makes it feel cosy and welcoming. Set in the beautiful landscape of the Yorkshire Dales with its twisty roads. The cottage transports you to a quieter simpler time away from the hustle and bustle of the 2020's. We found the kitchen well equipped with plenty of storage. The woodfire is lovely to use giving that homely feel. The bedroom and living room are comfortable and in good repair. The quiet of the area and the bed makes sleeping a delight. Our favourite room however is the cloakroom toilet with its wonderfully interesting plumbing work of a wooden high cistern and bell tap. Brilliant. We will return.

Fabulous furnishings and decor, it couldn’t have been better. We will definitely revisit . The owners could not have been better a great couple of people that nothing was too much trouble.5 stars

The cottage is a great place to relax and recharge your batteries however changing one or two small things would catapult it into the superb category!

The bed is comfortable enough but the mattress does have specific body dents on both sides and, imho, both the pillows and duvet feel very cheap and have no substance to them. Don’t get me wrong we weren’t cold during the night as the weather was still quite decent but it wouldn’t take much of a temperature drop to change that. The curtains in the living room would be very much easier to use on a rail instead of poles, might seem a little bit picky but for those of us who have with arthritic hands it’d be like night and day. On one of our shopping trips we bought a roll of black bags as despite an extensive search we couldn’t find any until our last evening when we found a couple sandwiched between the internal and external parts of the bucket. It’s a lovely, quirky place and you can tell there’s a lot of work been put into it however a wee step back just to take a fresh look at where some small improvements could escalate the cottage into the premier division would be the way forward!

We've just spent a few days at this cottage, it is wonderful.

Very peaceful and situated in the beautiful countryside, it's equipped with everything you need for a relaxing stay. We would love to go back next year for longer, there is lots to do especially if you like to do a lot of walking.

Owners on site is a bonus and we’re really helpful. Unusual fittings and fixtures with everything you need for a break. Would definitely stay there again. Keighly & Worth steam railway worth a visit, lovely stations along the line. The Dog and Gun in Oxenhope serves excellent good.

The Salt Pot is a great place for 2 to stay with everything you need to be comfy and cosy in good or bad weather.

Gives the feeling of being remote tho you’re only about 10-15 mins by car to Keighley or Haworth. After heavy rain we weren’t too keen on tramping over the moors but we found some great circular walks taking in the Leeds - Liverpool canal. Cliffe Castle Museum, gardens (free) and cafe are well worth a visit. The welcome pack of essentials was much appreciated especially eggs from owners Rebecca and Alec’s chickens. Didn’t get chance to use wood burner or sauna but if we revisit the area we’d definitely stay again so might do then. Thanks for a lovely holiday.

The design and furnishings were quirky and fun and the cottage was also very comfortable and had everything we needed for a week's stay. The location is quite isolated and peaceful, with great views, and it was a relaxing place to stay. Highly recommended.

Outside is a table and bench which gets a lot of sun and has fabulous views. Very comfy bed. Most of all the owners next door are so helpful and there were starter provisions including fantastic newly .laid eggs. Just go and experience the peace and quiet.

We stayed at the Salt Pot recently for our first wedding anniversary and had a fantastic time.

It’s clear that Rebecca and Alec love this place and the attention to detail in the design is stunning! The cleanliness really stood out too, for a vast cottage with so many nooks and crannies there was not a spec of dust or dirt anywhere. The personal touches we lovely, we particularly enjoyed the fresh eggs from the farm, thank you! The Salt Pot is a perfect balance of quaint country life with all the modern amenities you could ask for. Fantastic hosts, we’d definitely return if we were in the area again.

Clean, cosy and quirky, it's ideal for a quiet getaway.

Lovely location and cottage, warm, clean, quiet and cosy with some quirky features and characteristics making it interesting.

On site parking is next to the property which is always very important to us. It’s obvious that the owners take a pride in their cottage. Only minus factor was the uncomfortable sofa. Bed was very comfortable.

Absolutely loved our stay at The Salt Pot.

The whole cottage is beautifully presented throughout, with real care and attention having gone in to the features, decor, and general vibe. No IKEA basics here, unlike a lot of holiday lets! Very comfortable bed with easily enough room for two big lads such as us. Ditto the sofa, where we ended up spending most of our time. The kitchen is well equipped with equipment and utensils - certainly everything we needed to prepare several meals during our stay. The isolated location offers breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside and beautiful dark skies at night, while still being handy enough for shopping in Keighley, Skipton or Colne. Overall, one of the best cottages we've stayed at, if not the absolute best, and we won't hesitate to book in again next time we're visiting this part of the country.

Made very welcome by Rebecca and Belle the dog. The cottage itself is wonderful. Very quirky. Certainly lives up to the pictures. Very clean and tidy and beautifully appointed. Could not fault the place. Eggs from her hens on arrival and welcome cookies in the kitchen. Lots of places to visit in the area. You will not regret booking a stay here.

What a beautiful cottage.

We loved every second. Everything was spot on. Milk and biscuits so that we could make a brew as soon as we got there. Eggs for breaky laid by the owners hens. Such a thoughtful touch. We enjoyed the local walks from the doorstop as well as travelling a little further afield to our favourite places in Wharfedale. Watching the sun sets from the bench at the bottom of the garden was truly magical. I think the only thing that could be done to improve is to have an outdoor seating area closer to the cottage where one could sit out and have meals whilst taking in the views. Weather dependant of course. Perhaps by closing off part of the parking area. I know the owners haven’t been there very long so perhaps this is still a work in progress. Other than that we would 100% recommend Salt Pot Cottage. Thank you.

The cottage was amazing though we had little contact with the owners when we did see them they were lovely.

Very nice being on a farm with pigs, hens etc. owner was very nice and Helpful and cottage was well appointed with lots of nice, quirky details in the decor/finish. Great log burner that made the cottage toasty warm. Very good location for exploring Haworth and surrounding moors. We walked, drove and cycled whilst there for 2 days.

Outstanding everything you need for a relaxing week away.

This is a lovely bungalow with many quirky features which make it a special place to stay.

The shower was superb, spacious and powerful. I had a lazy day when it rained and stayed in the very comfortable bed for the morning as I had worn myself out with my photography in the rest of the glorious week. In fact I was glad of the rain giving me an excuse to rest! Rebecca and Alex were very helpful friendly people always around to help but never intrusive. My first holiday since lockdown was a great success!

The Salt Pot was amazing.

It was so cosy, clean and quirky. It was the perfect way to celebrate my husbands birthday. We would definitely return, and would 100% recommend for friends and family to stay too!

This was a perfect cottage to explore the Yorkshire Dales.

We loved it! Haworth, Bolton Abbey, Skipton and Ilkley Moor are all relatively close by with scenic trips to Hawes (for Wensleydale cheese), Ribblehead viaduct and Malham Cove easy drives away. Alternatively, there are some lovely walks from the cottage with a sauna to come back to. The inside has been very tastefully decorated with everything you need for a great stay. The photos on the website are very accurate. We are already planning our next visit!

After a day out in the wilds of Yorkshire, it was perfect to come back and light the fire in this cosy cottage and warm up in the sauna. The views are stunning and there are walks from your front door. Nearby is Haworth and Saltaire, which are definitely the worth a visit.

We had a wonderful long weekend in a most interesting area, visiting the Bronte Parsonage,Haworth, East Riddlesden Hall and the Worth Valley Railway. Unfortunately it is not easy for elderly clients who are tall and do not bend easily! Many of the appliances and even the bed (Super comfortable) were low and made life difficult for two octogenarians. Highly recommended for younger people, though.
