Inside the lodge, you will find an open-plan living space; the kitchen is contemporary with an air fryer to prepare your favourites and a washing machine to make you feel at home.

The dining area is set for four people, it is a great place to split a takeaway if you fancy a treat, and the sitting area has a mounted TV so you don’t have to miss out on your shows.

Unlock the charming latch and brace doors to the bedrooms; there is a compact double or a twin, serviced by a practical, contemporary bathroom.

There is plenty to see in the area so pack up the car and head to Hartlebury Castle, a grand heritage building walk around the moat, visit the museum and enjoy a picnic in the lovely gardens.

The National Trust’s Wightwick Manor and Gardens is a superb place to spend a few hours, walk around the Victorian manor house with art pieces to appreciate, and there may be some live music played on a grand piano if you’re lucky.
