Accommodation was homely, welcoming and spotless.

A great site in a perfect area for both venturing out of the grounds or staying there. Owner always on hand. Highly recommend!

When we arrived we noticed a loose bolt on the steps causing the steps to wobble making them unsafe.

The latches to hold the doors open were also broken so doors kept slamming shut. The overall cleanliness was not good. The freezer was iced over with dirty ice and there was mould in the fridge and freezer seals. I did message the owner with photos of this but she didn’t respond. The whole caravan also looked like it hadn’t been cleaned well. Toothpaste stain in bathroom cabinet, and in the cabinet cup, dust on shelves, hair bobble and food particles behind sofa, dusty soap dispenser in kitchen, sticky kitchen work surfaces. There was also a very bad smell in the bathroom and small bedroom smelt fousty. It was a comfortable caravan however needs some maintenance and a good clean.

Thankyou for your feedback. which we greatly appreciate. Although we did respond to you after you contacted us and offered our services to which you declined. Your issue with the step was dealt with by the park maintenance, to which their response was that they were not unsafe, the steps wouldn't move anywhere as they are attached to the van elsewhere. Unfortunately the door retainers are only plastic and get brittle with the weather and got broken during the strong winds and have been replaced. There was not mould in the fridge, pop had been spilled in the freezer area so had to be defrosted. We will act on issues reported to us by our guests and appreciate notification upon Arrival or anytime during their stay so that issues can be dealt with asap. We aim to give our guests a pleasant stay... kind regards.
