    “family holiday”

We returned to Keil view after 10 years, and found the house to be very much the same. We were aware of the mixed reviews and took the opportunity to contact the owners in advance . Overall we had a very enjoyable stay, and we were pleased with the house, the facilities.... There were some issues, yes some windows are a bit stiff, and the pool does require a top up.... but overall the house met our needs and was as we remembered... ...

The only negatives are as follows: Very, very poor road access, far too many pot holes. Bedrooms are basic and could do with better beds.. Other than that the house, the swimming pool, sauna, games room, very nice lounge and a well equipped kitchen..... such an amazing location.... This house is all about location... we were able to relax, have access to our own swimming pool and sauna, and be so close to a natural unspoiled woodland and Lochans.. The Ardgour inn is close by for meals and drinks.... We kept missing the local shop as it is only open in the mornings..... so make sure you bring plenty of essentials else it's a long drive to the nearest shop in fortwilliam.. Also, the sheep are very noisy on a morning.....
