Just a short drive from Looe, Polperro and the South Cornwall coast, this beautifully designed lodge is surrounded by wildlife, lakes and unspoilt countryside.

Combining contemporary style with thoughtful touches throughout, this single-storey retreat provides a relaxing base from which to explore Cornwall or simply unwind in tranquil surroundings.

Step inside and discover a bright, welcoming interior where the open-plan living room forms the heart of the home.

The sleek kitchen is well-equipped for preparing everything from leisurely breakfasts to evening meals, while the dining area provides a wonderful spot to gather and plan the adventures ahead.

As the day draws to a close, settle into the sitting area, switch on the Smart TV and enjoy quality time together beside the warming glow of the electric fire.

The bedrooms have been carefully arranged to offer flexibility during your stay.

A double bedroom benefits from its own en-suite walk-in shower room and TV, creating a private space to unwind, while a twin bedroom is served by a stylish family bathroom complete with a bath and shower over.

Outside, the lodge continues to impress.

Begin the morning with a coffee on the decking, stretch out on the sun loungers as the afternoon unfolds, or indulge in a soothing soak in the bubbling hot tub beneath the open sky.

The gravelled garden area and picnic bench provide yet another space to enjoy the fresh Cornish air.

Beyond the lodge, Cornwall is yours to explore.

The harbour towns of Looe and Polperro are both a short drive away, offering sandy beaches, boat trips, independent shops and excellent seafood.

Beach days are easily spent at East Looe Beach or dog-friendly Talland Bay and Seaton, while scenic coves like Readymoney Cove near Fowey provide classic Cornish charm.

Families can head to Eden Project, brave the zip wires at Adrenalin Quarry, or explore the dramatic landscapes of Bodmin Moor for a change of scenery.

With the South West Coast Path within reach and a friendly onsite team on hand throughout your stay, 1 Stonerush Valley delivers the best of both worlds: secluded woodland tranquillity and effortless access to Cornwall’s most loved coastal hotspots.

LANREATH

Pelynt 2 miles; Looe 5 miles; Polperro 6 miles.

Lanreath is a village in southeast Cornwall, five miles west of Looe, home to the famous Punchbowl Inn, a must visit. Lanreath is rural in character with a local shop, Post Office, 2 pubs as well as a parish church. There are a number of ghost stories associated with Lanreath. The best-known features a ghost in black driving a coach pulled by a headless horse. Nearby Pelynt is home to a parish church, a number of local shops and pubs, especially the Jubilee Inn, which was an original farmhouse dating back to the 16th Century. Looe is Cornwall’s second largest fishing port and hence there is always a lively maritime bustle around the quay area of East Looe, which is connected to the quieter West Looe by a seven arched 19th century bridge over the River Looe. The sandy Looe beach adjoins the pier and is very popular with families because of its safe shallow swimming and vast expanse of sand. Polperro is a little further away and is a historic fishing village nestling at the head of a long valley leading down to the sea. With plenty of areas to visit, Lanreath is a quiet, pleasant place offering easy access to the coast, the moors, National Trust properties and Cornwall's famous gardens.
