Resting in a peaceful holiday park of the South Lakeland Leisure Village, on the outskirts of Carnforth, Lancashire Curlew Lodge is a fabulous base for a family of six's getaway, the holiday park rests within easy reach of the Lake District National Park as well as the Yorkshire Dales National Park!
After parking in one of the two sought-after, off-road spaces, make your way up the steps and into the open-plan living space, where large windows bathe the room in natural light, creating a convivial feel throughout.
Settle down in the sitting area, where two plush sofas offer you a seat in front of the TV, where you can enjoy a family movie night after a day packed with sightseeing.
When you're feeling peckish, make your way over to the attractive kitchen, where wooden units host a range of appliances that are bound to please any budding chef, including a wine chiller!
When dinner is ready, enjoy it over at the six-seater dining table, before wandering out to the enclosed decking, where you can sip your favourite tipple under the setting sun.
As the day comes to an end, choose between three fabulous bedrooms to rest in, with two of these offering twins, and the latter comprising a double benefiting from its own TV and en-suite shower room.
When it comes to getting ready in the morning, the twins have access to a family bathroom, where you can freshen up in the sleek bath with shower over.
Take advantage of your location and make use of the on-site facilities, with one of these being a fantastic bar/restaurant situated moments away from the lodge; ideal for when you don't feel up to cooking!
The holiday park is also home to a spa, for when you want a bit of pampering, a well-equipped gym and a swimming pool, where you can get those muscles pumping, along with fishing lakes for you to angle in.
Venture a short distance to Carnforth, a market town hosting more of your amenities in one location, such as a well-equipped supermarket serving your essentials, a range of eateries and a train station to help you get around with ease.
The lodge is also within reach of the Arnside & Silverdale AONB, where the delights of Warton Crag Local Nature Reserve, Lakeland Wildlife Oasis and Silverdale Beach are waiting to be explored.
Why not spend the day in Sizergh, where the 14th-century bulwark of the same name, the Lakeland Maze Farm Park and the nearby Levens Deer Park can be found?

We enjoy returning to this Lodge It is so clean and comfortable A lovely location on the leisure village Second line from the lake , a lovely view The Glass patio allows a full view of the lovely surroundings and the lake. The facilities inside the Lodge are to a High standard . There is lots to do and see. Great pubs nearby short journeys to enjoy great days out.
