"Although the weather could have been kinder we had a lovely week at 12A Borwick Lakes."
The lodge was very well appointed & comfortable, a real home away from home. The internet worked flawlessly for both smart TV's & my iPad. Borwick Lakes is very well situated just off the M6 but in a quiet spot & within a pleasant drive to both north to the Lake District National Park, south to Morecambe & Lancaster & east to the Yorkshire Dales. I would highly recommend a stay at this lodge as it represents great value for money in a lovely corner of England.

"We had a pleasant three-night stay at this place."
It’s conveniently located near the lakes where we spent most of our time. The lakeside leisure facilities are excellent, and we only used the pool, which my son thoroughly enjoyed. The caravan itself is spacious enough for three people, and the facilities were just what we needed. The only issue we encountered was when we arrived at the caravan. The previous guests had left their used towels in the shower room which hadn’t been collected and the bin hadn’t been emptied, which made the kitchen area smell. I tried to contact the owner via email, but it may have been an address they can’t receive emails on as I’m not sure if they received it. Apart from this minor inconvenience the place was very clean and we had a great time and would definitely visit the area again for a break.

The beds were so comfy & the caravan was lovely & clean. Also it was very helpful the owner supplying kitchen roll, foil & tea towels, saves you taking it with you. We travelled to different towns in the Lake District while here & Morecambe. There is no wee shop on holiday park. A short drive away is Aldi & Tesco though. The food in restaurant in holiday park was lovely,

"A lovely clean lodge with everything you could need for a pleasant stay."
Comfortable beds and pillows with a tv in the main bedroom which also has an ensuite wc. Lovely powerful shower with plenty of hot water. A nice kitchen with everything you will need including a large fridge/freezer. A smart tv in the living area and the WiFi signal is a reasonable strength. There is a bit of noise from the nearby busy road but we didn't find it too intrusive. We had a small problem during our stay but the owners dealt with it swiftly. They also have great communication and are there if you need to contact them. All in all we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and thoroughly recommend it. We will definitely return if we stay in the area again.
