    From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed into a peaceful haven that felt both luxurious and homely. The lodge itself was immaculate—beautifully decorated, well-equipped.The attention to detail was evident in every corner, from the cozy linens to the thoughtful touches that made us feel truly cared for. The outdoor space was a dream with two sitting areas. Amy & Chris obviousely went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect, offering a welcome basket, great local tips and making us feel completely at home. 24 Sherwood is a pleasant lodge based on the outskirts of the market town of Carnforth, Lancashire.

With ground-floor living, and an open-plan kitchen, dining and living space this charming lodge is ideal for a group looking to have an escape away together.

Take some steps up into the property to be met by your new home-from-home.

Unwind on the two sofas to watch the Smart TV, and acclimatise yourself to the charm all around you.

Cook up something scrumptious using the fully kitted-out kitchen for those waiting at the dining table.

Enjoy the crisp fresh air or the beaming sun in the warmer months on the wrapped-around decking area outside.

CARNFORTH

Capernwray 2.4 miles; Lake District National Park 11.6 miles.

Located just off the M6 and 20 miles south of the scenic Lake District, Carnforth is the sort of place that everyone has heard of, and many desire to discover this hidden gem. Situated at the north end of Morecambe Bay, north of the historic town of Lancaster, 15 miles from the winding lanes of the Yorkshire Dales and a hop and a skip from the Lake District, it is close to absolutely everywhere! Other local attractions include Greenlands Farm Village for crafts, local produce, a play area, café, and a garden centre. The lovely area just north of Carnforth has tidal sands bordering the huge expanse of Morecambe Bay. It offers plenty of pleasant walks and opportunities to see local birds and wildlife in this fabulous area of Lancashire. Don't forget to visit the lovely old market town of Kirkby Lonsdale where you can walk or cycle along the Lancaster to Kendal Canal nearby.
