  • "The lodge was very well equipped with everything you could think of, including cleaning/washing products, tea coffee, towels, slippers, robes."

It was clean, spacious, the hot tub was clean, plenty of space for 6 adults, private, looking out onto the lake, this place is great for all groups including families. Theres a spa (pure essence) on site which we all used for treatments(we booked in advanced). We couldnt get into the restaurant until late at night so we went with the chinese that was recommended (trungs), which was amazing. All in all was a fantastic get away and would definitely recommend and return in the future. Thank you.

Dear Kay Thank you for taking the time to write a review I’m very grateful So pleased you relaxed and yes Trungs is certainly a highly recommended restaurant and takeaway. We still haven’t managed to get in there to eat yet only take outs. Yes the onsite Waterside restaurant needs booking early too but they do pizza takeaways for an alternative option. The Royal opposite Trungs is excellent too. We go there a lot. Longlands another great place in walking distance We would be delighted to have you back any time. There’s plenty more to fill another break away. Appreciate you taking care of our lodge always a nice find to open the door to. All the best Charlotte Property Owner

  • "The lodge was booked for a short break with our 10 year old Grandson and friends who have an 11 year old and and under one year old."

The communication from the owner from start to finish with comprehensive and clear information about the lodge and the area. On arrival the lodge can only be described as being of an exceptionally high standard and is well equipped throughout with the negative point was not booking a longer stay. The owners should be proud of their high standard and we wish them the very best . We would have no hesitation in booking again and thank the owners for their hospitality.

Dear Kevin Glad you had a safe journey home. I sincerely thank you for looking after our lodge whilst enjoying a good break away with the family. It was a pleasure to have you as guests. And would welcome you again. All the best. Charlotte Property Owner

We went there well prepared with towels, coffee, tea, condiments and were blown away to see everything we could think of was already there and we were welcome to use them. It is a wonderful property in a lovely location with provisions for everything you could possibly need. A most pleasurable and amazing stay.
