  • "Very clean and well equipped."

A bit dated in furnishings but generally very comfortable and would be happy to return for another stay.

  • "The property was as expected from reading previous reviews a bit dated and in need of some TLC, light in fridge and extractor fan not working, hoover (great touch!"

) didn't pick up anything even after emptying and cleaning up, some mould on windows/shower, mattresses are not comfortable. But...perfect location, very peaceful, easy walk to Keswick and the colleagues there are so helpful! Check in was great with the lady confirming a place I wanted to eat was great, tips on how to get into town. The next day on finding a broken utensil the chap I spoke to quickly replaced it and then got me a working hoover. He was really helpful with any enquiries I had. For a warm place to stay inbetween walks, this is perfect. We'd definitely go back to one of the newer cabins. Very much worth a visit!
