The paintwork on staircase needs touching up .
The main bedroom carpet and skirting board was moldy . When we arrived there was a very musty smell and our clothes in wardrobe also smelt musty .

Cottage warm and clean in fact kitchen and utensils looked new. Washing up and refuse bags provided but no milk/tea bags however garage shop within walking distance. Walks to Keswick and Threlkeld literally on the doorstep and hot tub a welcome addition. There is work taking place in a couple of the buildings but this did not detract from our enjoyment in any way - loved the history of the place. Overall a great stay in a great location.
