The cottage is very comfortable and very well appointed, with everything anyone could want for an enjoyable holiday. The accommodation was spotless and there were completely unexpected treats (cake and everything needed to have a cup of tea or coffee) waiting for us on our arrival. This was a lovely touch and very much appreciated. We found the steep stairs a wee bit of a challenge, but we're both in our 70's and normally live in a bungalow so that's not surprising, and the lack of close parking is a minor inconvenience but the description of the cottage contained information about these issues so we were warned. Those points certainly did not spoil our holiday at all. The location of Elderslie is excellent as a base to explore north east Norfolk. I would recommend the cottage to anyone.

The property

This well-appointed, comfortable, terraced cottage is situated in the quiet village of Hemsby, less than a mile from the unspoilt sandy beaches of the Norfolk coastline.

Providing comfortable accommodation for up to four people, this cosy cottage is well placed to enjoy the wide variety of local attractions including nearby Caister on Sea and the popular seaside resort of Great Yarmouth.

The well-equipped open plan kitchen and dining room offer all that is needed to create and enjoy some fine meals from local produce, or to gather for breakfast and plan how to spend the coming days.

You can relax in the sitting room whilst enjoying a DVD or two, or perhaps spend some time on the patio with a glass of something special whilst reading that novel that you just can’t put down.

Upstairs there is a double bedroom, and a further twin bedroom which is zip/link and can be made up to make a king-size double if required.

The coastal location of Elderslie cottage makes it the perfect place to explore all that Norfolk has to offer including the stunning award-winning coastline, the excellent race course at Great Yarmouth, golf courses, watersports, motorsports, birdwatching, walking and cycling; there really is so much to see and do!

This lovely comfortable cottage is perfectly placed to create some wonderful memories of your Norfolk holiday.
