"Wills House is lovely and is now absolutely our 'go back to' property when we visit family in the area."
It is everything the pics and listing promises and then more. Having two completely separate rooms is such a bonus - one kid watching TV, the other having some quiet time, you just can't value that too highly - and super comfy beds. Lovely big kitchen, a 'proper' garden and sea views. Perfect! A friendly owner and a park next door but one made the holiday absolutely ideal.
-
"Lovely big house with spacious rooms."
Very comfortable beds and well equipped kitchen. Would definitely stay again if ever in the area. Thankyou for a great relaxing break.
-
"We had a fantastic week at Wills House."
The house was clean and welcoming. The beds were comfy and we loved waking up to a sea view. The pool table, table tennis and table football kept the children entertained and away from their tablets and phones! So much to do in the local area too.
-
"This House was beautifully clean and Beds were the Best Ever for Comfort!"
! It had everything You need, Home from Home!! A short Walk to the Seafront was so Good and a View of the Sea from one of the Bedrooms!! Will most likely go again. Barbara n Bill. Leeds.

"The stay was great."
Just the pool table, one of the legs was bent so we weren't able to use it. Otherwise it would be a 10 from us
-
"Stunning, well maintained and equipped property."
Perfect location for hitting the beach opposite the road end. Will definitely return.
-
"Wills House was immaculately presented."
Sheryl was vigilent in her helpfulness. Welcome pack best we've ever seen. Sea view from the main bedroom - beach barely 200 yards away , through the local park. Excellent venue for a family holiday with an extended kitchen / dining / living room, and playroom We loved it!
-
"A lovely, bright and airy house in a quiet location close to amenities."
Excellent supply of crockery and glasses in a well stocked kitchen. Decent provision of cleaning materials and a nice welcome from the owner. It’s a shame there isn’t another bathroom in such a big house but we knew that when we booked. We would happily return to this house.
-

Everything you need was provided. The house is very spacious, plenty big enough for six people. It is a short walk to a lovely long beach. Ideal location for touring the area. The property owner was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this property.

Location was perfect, very close to beach and within walking distance to town centre but far enough away for peace and quiet. Owner was helpful and so kind when our car broke down on 1st day of holiday. Would highly recommend Wills House

"A lovely spacious house close to the beach, ideal for the children."
-
"Wills House is a lovely property only a short walk from the seafront in Redcar."
Unfortunately our enjoyment of the holiday home was spoilt by major buidling work in progress at the adjoining house. Neither Sykes Cottages nor the owner had given us prior warning of this. The builders were at work every day during our stay including Saturday and Sunday. In the end we left for home a day early mainly due to the noise.
-
"We greatly enjoyed our stay at Will’s House."
It’s located in a quiet an safe neighbourhood, right by the beach. the children enjoyed the table football, there was plenty of space for all of us, and the location was excellent. We would book this house again next time we’re spending time in the area.
-
"Wills House is fantastic."
The house is comfortable with very nice furniture and a well stocked kitchen. Add to that table football, pool and table tennis, as well as other games, a garden and 3 minutes to a beautiful coastline, why go anywhere else???!
-
"Lovely week in beautiful house very close to the beach."
Well stocked kitchen with pretty much everything you could need. Slightly tired in places, wallpaper coming off in both sea facing bedrooms behind curtains - wouldn’t be noticed if you didn’t use the curtains but we did. Very clean house on our arrival and biscuits very much appreciated. Literally five mins walk from the beach through Lily Park. Very good base for exploring the north east and north York moors without the price tag of some other cottages. The football table and travel tennis were a great addition too.
-
"A very well presented and comfortable house, enough space for all our family and ideally situated near to the beach."
We had a lovely holiday and really enjoyed our time in Redcar and also visiting the surrounding areas of Whitby, Scarborough and Saltburn.

"Great location ."
The house was very comfortable and clean. The welcome pack was great tea coffee and biscuits . Not sounding a lot but we arrived without food. So a cup of tea was great when we unpacked the car. Then food shopping.

A couple of minutes walk and your on the beach. We really enjoyed our time here. Shame the snooker table is unlevel but the football table was a nice surprise.

About the location
REDCAR
Marske-by-the-Sea 1.5 miles; Saltburn-by-the-Sea 4 miles; Whitby 23 miles.
The seaside town of Redcar lies on the east coast, just north of Saltburn. It has long, golden sandy beaches stretching for miles towards Saltburn Bay. The promenade is perfect to sit and watch the local fisherman land the day's catch, and you may wish to enjoy Redcar's famous lemon top ice cream, tried by Prince Charles on one of his frequent visits. The 80ft accessible vertical pier 'Redcar's Beacon' offers spectacular views, and visit the lifeboat museum, home to the 'Zetland' built in 1802, which is known to be the world's oldest lifeboat. To the south-east, The Stray, a 2 mile stretch of grassland between the golden beach and coast road links Redcar and Marske, why not take a leisurely walk and admire the breathtaking vista of coastline and cliffs? The popular Victorian resort of Saltburn, only a few minutes’ drive has an abundance of lovely tea rooms, good restaurants and interesting shops. Take the cliff lift believed to be the oldest working funicular railway in the UK, making its first 120ft decent on June 28th 1884. To the lower promenade and the 600ft long pier is the sole surviving example on the north east coast, then a stroll through the ornamental valley gardens up to the town. The North York Moors lie to the south, with ample walking opportunities and attractions such as the Danby Moors Exhibition Centre and continue to the vibrant market town of Helmsley with ruins of a Norman castle. Redcar provides an ideal base for visiting many attractions.
