The owner goes above and beyond the call of duty and is a pleasure to deal with. We were a group of 5 (mix of 70-80 years old and a couple of young uns in their 40s!) Beds were comfortable. Location is lovely. Short stroll to the beach (although it's extremely steep!), to part of the Cleveland Way and nearby pubs. Also a great "base" for jumping in the car and exploring further afield. Thoroughly recommend! Thanks so much Claire for your positive feedback..... We're so pleased you all enjoyed your week in Lobster Lodge! Property Owner Reviewed by ClaireJun 2022 "Absolutely lovely place to stay." Runswick Bay itself is very quiet but ideally located to explore North Yorkshire. We had a food shop delivered by both Tesco and Sainsburys (both fine). The owner does check in on your arrival to ensure that everything is ok and will recommend things that are of interest to you. The owner does also mow the lawns whilst you are there. The Runswick lodge area is very quiet. Not recommend for people that are looking for lively holiday. Thanks so much for leaving a review.... The lodge is beautiful, well equipped, spotlessly clean and ideally situated. Needless to say there are great places to see & some lovely places to eat, our favourite being Ellerby Inn (only 1 mile away) and Runswick Bay is the most gorgeous un-spoiled little village, with a great pub/hotel (the Royal).
