One place you simply can’t miss out on visiting is the town of Whitby, situated just a 20-minute drive down the coast. Known for being the place that inspired Bram Stoker’s famous novel “Dracula”, this town has long been a hot spot for tourists visiting the region. Home to iconic landmarks like the ruins of Whitby Abbey and some of the best fish and chips anywhere in the country, it makes for a wonderful place to spend a full day out.
