"Position of chalet on site good."
5 minute walk to sandy dog friendly beach.
Chalet very well equipped. Beds were clean and nice fresh towels.
However!
Very steep open stairs to the only double, comfortable bed, which going down those stairs to the toilet in night is dangerous! Two single beds downstairs, but more suited to children.
The shower room particularly, was very dirty. The kitchen was very tiny.
The chalet itself, is in need of a really thorough deep clean!
The whole outside area, which the nice sun is on all day, has a step out to it which is too deep, it is all in great need of t.l.c. ~ very poor and unkept and neglected. There is a nice little patio seat set tho.
Some decking is rotten and loose fence stays, all needs treating, including wooden table set. Lots of weeds and broken flags. Tubs and fence planters there, but no plants in, only a dead fir tree.
The last straw was ants in the kitchen all in the dogs food.
At this, we packed up and came home a day early

We had a lovely time enjoyed it and was only 5 mins from the beach, it was clean and tidy and had most things that you needed for a lovely stay only down side was the bedroom up stairs the stairs were dangerous and when we went to have a look it also had a sloping roof so had to be carefull not to bang our heads so didnt bother using it going up and down them stairs when you wanted to use the toilet was too much other than that we had a lovely stay

"Have written a review in the other form
Beautiful,well equipped,home from home."
Lively fresh and clean bedding and towels.a lovely welcome card and basket thank you.
A little dusty upstairs and on the stairs.
Lovely size garden(a few weeds) but not an issue as lovely place to sit out.had problems with the drop from the door and needs a step.
Shower drain needs cleaning more regularly as it was pretty blocked and all the hair and sand from previous guests came back up.(used vast array of cleaning products under sink, soaked plug and used drain unblock and hot kettle water.)
Only mentioned as others might not be as happy about it.
Thanks for a lovely stay in a fantastic location with everything we needed.

"The property was immaculate when we arrived, had a lovely little welcome note from owners with their contact number and they provided a basket with tea, coffee, biscuits etc."
the upstairs bedroom was really nice with a nice comfy bed. Bedroom was very light as their is no curtain as such, didn’t bother us but some might prefer a blackout blind/curtain.The kitchen was very well equipped except for a colander, loved the garden as it had the sun all day and my little dog could run in and out. We did find the step down from the patio doors too high and would be better with another step. Overall our stay was fantastic and would definitely return to this property because of the standard of this chalet and closeness to the beach.
Thank you so much for your review of Chalet 235, it was a pleasure to have you. We look forward to seeing you again soon. John & Kate

"Well placed small chalet on holiday park."
5 minutes from the beach and in the other direction a fish & chip shop, convenience store and bus stop. However, we had to discover all this for ourselves, there was no local information in the chalet, not even a visitors' book. We were also surprised there was no hairdryer, for around £600 per week we expected one. There was a welcome box with drinks and biscuits but no shower gell or shampoo. We are more used to cottages, so perhaps chalets and caravans are not so well equipped, must make a note for next time!!!

"Chalet 235 was perfect for us with our dog and would recommend a stay here."
After being a chalet housekeeper for a sykes property and other companies in the past I am quite fussy about cleaning and did have to go over the bathroom and oven. Not a major complaint at all. The small beds could do with renewing as the matress springs could be felt and the beds squeak every time you turn over. As I say no major complaints and 235 was lovely as was John the owner.

"We have enjoyed our stay."
The chalet provided everything we needed. If I have a criticism it is the single beds they are just about adequate for adults. Small niggle as were were so tired by Tuesday night we could have slept on pebbles!!! Everything worked and we enjoyed our stay!!!!

"Such a lovely little Chalet, my son was so excited to sleep in the loft bedroom, and as a family, it was a great little getaway."
Unfortunately, the previous tenants must have smoked, so this ruined it for us and put us off from staying again.
I would have loved to have given 4 stars, John and Kate are clearly very thoughtful people who make sure you have everything you need for a great experience.
Plenty of parking next to chalet, nice and quiet surroundings and just a perfect little all rounder.
Thank you for the stay, I recommend this place.

"A Lovely welcome note and Christmas present under the Christmas tree on arrival."
Didn’t meet John and Kate but it was very reassuring I could contact them directly by mobile if needed and not have to go through other parties.
The house was warm and clean on arrival and had everything you need for a brake away any time of the year. Home from home. Dog friendly for well behaved/house trained dog. Two friendly seagulls always sat on fence. Nice decking area to sit out on with enclosed fence and patio area.
Outdoor Waste bins in a good location and parking.
10mins walk from the beach
10mins drive to get to shops and town centre
John and Kate are blessed to have a lovely holiday home .
