    One thing the gate needs sorting do down in stars. But there’s all you need in kitchen it’s so nice

    Thank you for your feedback. I presume the problem with the gate was that it wouldn’t latch, so the grounds were not dog proof or child proof. This was brought to our attention by the last guests, and we have had the latch repaired. Sorry for any inconvenience. Property Owner

  • "The whole place needs updating from the flooring to new bed covers , appliances all the small things that make a big difference that don't actually cost a fortune When you walked in the place smelt unclean and had a doggy smell due to the carpets."

    I went to use the hoover it was totally blocked once I managed to un block it still no good just no suction at all. Outside gate needs fixing been like it for 2 years and fence needs painting. Again simple things that would make a big difference. Sorry for the negativity but just being honest. The proximity to the beach was the best part.

  • "The first impression of the property is of the outside which was disapointing, the fence needs repainting and the gate is poorly connected to the post, in addition the latch doesnt work correctly."

    There is on the outside floor old, poorly fitted and dirty artificial grass which really needs attending to. Inside there is eveything you need in the kitchen area all in a workable condition. There are four TVs of which one is a smart TV, unfortunalty its in the dining area, so to watch it when streaming you need to sit at the table which isn't ideal, it should be in the sitting room. The sitting room is very small where only three people can sit in comfort, and since its a four bed property it maybe a problem for others we were only two so this wasnt an issue. Geographically the location was great being only five minutes walk from the beach, the site has a pub and a mini shop niether of which we used so unable to comment. The site is clean and tidy but a little spoilt with quite a few old chalets that are not all that well maintained among other more modern ones.

    Thank you for your feedback. We are aware that the outside area is not all it should be, unfortunately we can only make improvements when there are no guests, and we then need good weather. Most properties only have one basic TV, so having four is a bonus. The main TV in the dining area also does satellite channels etc. which I believe you are referring to. You would prefer this TV in the cosy lounge, this might suit you, but may not suit other people. You mention that the sitting room is small, there’s not much I can do about that, I can’t make it bigger. Before we took ownership, it was a bedroom, making the chalet 6 berth, with nowhere comfortable to sit. We feel that we have made an improvement. We cannot be held responsible for other chalets that are not maintained. Property Owner

  • "Although it is compact (never stayed in a chalet before) we were pleasantly surprised at how cosy it was."

    The owners have really thought of everything to make your stay home from home. The distance to the beach 5 minutes tops was fantastic and the bonus of it being dog friendly all year was another thumbs up. Highly recommend so much so that we are already planning a return visit next year.

  • "Its a lovely chalet feels like home from home from the minute you open the door."

    Its so welcoming clean spacious ideal location and great to take your furry friend along too. Theres everything you need and more well thought out even down to toys and books for chilren a little garden fenced off so you can relax outside knowing your pet is safe . Out door furniture so comfy beds comfy too really love this place always feel relaxed when staying here would highly recommend .Plus if theres anything your not sure of or just need advice you can ring the number provided and get advice nothings too much trouble . Your made to feel welcome from day one and always ask after your stay how it was and where they could improve to me nothing needs changing price is good quality is perfect no faults found on my behalf . Defantly be booking again .

  • "Lovely stay and would 100% go again!"

    It was our first holiday with our cockapoo and he loved the easy access to the beach, walking into Bridlington, going to the next site which we had access to for their facilities (shop, chippy, arcade, beer garden etc). We only stayed 3 days but could have done longer.

    Me personally find the settee and armchair uncomfortable Arm rest to high. But on plus side would go again. Hope for better weather next time.

  • "We both loved the Chalet it had everything and more for a great holiday, it was lovely and clean as was the site, 1 minute to the beach, the location was perfect for us, I'm sure we'll be back, a couple of minor issues, the kitchen tap was awkward at times due to a build up of calcium , slight musty smell ( slight )possible due to early season."

  • "Property was beautifully decorated gorgeous kitchen and bedrooms beds were both super comfortable, had everything you need and more only down side was the storm the week before we arrived had blown down so had to use garden furniture to stop dogs escaping but owners did inform us before hand."

    Little snug is quite small for relaxing in the evenings

    The fence that blew down was owned by East Riding Council. It has now been repaired. Property Owner

  • "1,Clean ,2,Comfortable ,3,Convenient, 4,Compact - sensibly & tastefully furnished - fridge makes a continual low grinding noise - plants in containers make a colourful contribution to Chalet appeal - but need compost adding to the rear part of display for plant benefit & moisture retention."

    Thank you for your feedback. We are aware that the fridge/freezer is rather old. We are also aware that it makes a bit of noise, but we have not found the noise to be be excessive. However getting a new one is on our shopping list. Maintaining the garden is a bit of a problem because we only get access to it when the chalet is empty, but your comment is useful, and we will take your advice. The other problem is the rabbits eat the plants. I always arrange good weather for our guests. The fridge/freezer has now been replaced with a new one. Property Owner

BRIDLINGTON

Filey 10 miles; Scarborough 20 miles.

The seaside resort of Bridlington lies on the east coast of Yorkshire, south of Scarborough and Filey. Two award-winning beaches of golden sand stretch out on either side of the historic harbour, bustling with activity. Beautifully designed promenades provide everything from fun-fairs to quiet places where you can sit and watch the world go by. Shops, attractions, restaurants and the historic 'Old Town' of Bridlington offer a fascinating contrast to life on the beach, where the latest Dad's Army has been filmed, whilst the Bridlington Spa Theatre on the front provides evening entertainment. There is also the East Riding Leisure Centre, with family swimming area and a variety of other indoor activities.
