  • "Lovely, quiet location, easy to reach Borders as well as Northumberland attractions."

Quality bed linen and towels. Tasteful decor and classic furniture. Would definitely recommend this property. Good bottle of wine to welcome us. Useful information in their folder. PS (Not to included in published ) Vanity unit needs upgrading and maybe creating more space in front of the WC.

  • "The location of our property was on the Northumberland and Scottish borders."

Fabulous location for visiting stately houses and walking country. Will hope to visit again!

  • "The cottage was larger than expected."

Very spacious, well equipped, huge amount of storage, good sized shower and loads of hot water. The heating was also excellent. No wi fi but we survived without it ! This could put some people off booking. No towels, could be a problem for some people but ones that are provided tend to be very small anyway so we would prefer to take our own. Excellent location, quiet and close to Wooler and the excellent Red Lion pub which I can highly recomment. The Northumberland country Park/Cheviot hills are onl the doorstep so wonderful for walkers.
