"Danielle is a wonderful host."
Very responsive and helpful, sending us videos and walking us through how to work the oven. The property is very well presented and cared for, has everything a family needs for a pleasant stay. We look forward to returning on our next trip to England to visit family and friends. Thank you, Danielle!
"Dukes Meadow was the perfect home for our family vacation."
We were coming from the United States and had 10 people staying in this beautiful home, ranging in age from 30 to 91. Dukes Meadow has BEAUTIFUL light coming in the windows all day. The linens on all the beds were fluffy, clean and fresh. A real pleasure to get into after a busy day. The 4 bathrooms and 1 half bath were all in new condition, clean with nice towels. The living room was perfect for sitting all together drinking wine, playing games and sharing family stories. In warmer weather the French doors would have been open going into the back yard. The Kitchen was amazing and had everything we needed to cook or get some wonderful English Fish and Chips, Indian curry take out, or serve fancy desserts after a late night out. This was a very special family time for our, celebrating a wedding in Newcastle and this home added joy to our celebrations. The host was wonderful in answering all our questions. You can tell the host takes pride in their home. I thank them for sharing it with us. Our stay was WONDERFUL.
"By far the highest standard of holiday property we have stayed in!"
Truly amazing. The house was beautiful and felt very homely. It came with everything we needed and more. The house was super clean and all the furnishings were lovely. We would definitely love to stay again in future and would highly recommend.
"We had a wonderful stay at Dukes Meadow!"
The house was spotlessly clean and welcoming, with comfy beds and generous bathrooms. We couldn’t fault anything about it, and particularly loved the plush carpets upstairs and in the sitting room. The rooms are all beautifully decorated and it felt like a real luxury hotel experience. The beach at Whitley Bay is just a five minute drive away, and has a beautiful expanse of white sand to go for long beach walks. We loved coming back to the house after a day exploring and curling up on the sofa with Netflix and hot chocolate — such a nice touch — thank you!
"We really enjoyed our stay."
Everything was to a high standard, the owner certainly cares. Would happily return or recommend to family and friends.
