  • "Great place only thing we had trouble with was Half of the grill doesn't work, few cobwebs."

Table lamp at front door doesn't work. Wouldn't stop us from returning

  • "1) The radiator at the top of the stairs did not get warm when the central heating was on, which let to the top of the landing being cold when visiting the toilet in the middle of the night."

    2) The control panel on the dishwasher on the inside of the door had a crack which didn’t always turn on first time when used and could be dangerous if you had wet hands when selecting program and start of the machine. 3) The downstairs bathroom waste bin had not been emptied from the previous occupant and contained a soiled nappy which was discovered a few days into our stay at the property, of which I emptied myself into the outside bin and disinfected the bin in the bathroom as it smelt unpleasant. 4) The traffic noise was much worse than anticipated from the main road and kept us awake most nights, this was also made worse early in a morning due to a large amount of works traffic passing the house on its way to the building site due to the new large hospital being built 100 yards away.

  • "We had a lovely stay and were very happy with the property and its position in Berwick."

A ten minute walk from the train station was also a bonus for easy trips out and about. The reason for a four star cleanliness was an unwashed greasy meat tray, apart from that the property seemed quite clean. I would be very happy to stay at this property again and would recommend it to friends.

  • "We loved to stay at 7, Scott's Place."

A charming house in a very special town. Big enough for five people . We cooked a lot in the well equipped kitchen and had a lovely view towards three little seagull chicks and their parents on the roof.

  • "Well presented and clean house with great facilities, good technology and very nice welcoming touches."

Only marked down because of the squeaky floorboards and bedroom doors. I was wondering about parking but when we arrived and found the two parking permits, that made life a lot easier. Could this be highlighted in the booking confirmation ? Maybe it was and I just missed it.

  • "Absolutely stunning listed house, recently refurbished and supplied with everything needed for a comfortable stay."

The location was superb, just near shops, cafes, pubs, restaurants and the end of the Elizabethan town walls which make a pleasant walk. We were always able to park on the street very near the house using the permit provided. Berwick itself was a charming town and we found plenty to keep us occupied for the week we were there. The price of this house was surprisingly low compared with similar holiday houses nearby. We were delighted with our stay.
