  • "The lodge was amazing, everything we needed was there."

The beds were clean and towels for bathroom as well as the hot tub were available. Everything was there in the kitchen. The hot tub was clean and the engineer was there every other day to check it. We went to the on site club house and had the best of welcome. The lady behind the bar was lovely and friendly. We had a very relaxing staff and we will be back.

  • "Absolutely loved it."

First time visit and the site is super quiet but has everything you need for a short family vacation. Big green space for kids and playground. The chalet itself is spacious, clean, comfortable beds and a great layout. Hot tub is also a bonus. Only thing that needed fixing was the front gate as the screws holding it to the post had all rotted and it fell off. However on site maintenance were there in less than 10 minutes to fix it. Only thing that was missing was some oven gloves and needs a new frying pan as current one was end of life. All in all, lovely stay, place, staff and like minded families staying. Will come again !

  • "Beachwood lodge is spacious and had everything we needed for our weeks holiday."

Washing machine is a bonus. Furniture outside on decking was in need of repair or replacement, however it was usable for our visit. The hot tub was great for relaxing in the evening after a day exploring the nearby beaches and castles. A great base for visiting and exploring different parts of South Wales.

  • "Location was great, very homely feel to the lodge, high quality finish and furniture etc However cleaning was poor…."

Blinds full of dust Bathroom smelt like drains when it rained Cobweb & dead spider in lounge Towel heater in bathroom was filthy at the bottom The above didn’t spoil our stay stall but I would not expect such things to be an issue if a thorough cleaning inspection process had taken place Regards A Langley

  • "We booked a very last minute stay at Beechwood lodge and it was wonderful!"

The hot tub was absolutely perfect after a day out and the lodge itself was spotless. We loved that there was a designated dog walk area on site (very small but enough for that early morning trot out) and the site itself was immaculate, quiet and easy to find. We would highly recommend a stay!

  • "Lovely lodge and plenty of space inside."

Everything you need for a break away :). Shame that the hot tub wasn’t up to temperature so could only use it once. Due to the weather we stayed in a lot more and the lodge was very cold in the day due to the heating being on a timer.

Hi, many thanks for your review and thankyou for reporting the issues with your Hot Tub. A member of staff did check the Hot Tub temperature during your stay, and it was up to temperature each time? At this time of year, with the cold and stormy weather, the Hot Tub temperature will drop rapidly. However, we have organised a service to check that the Tub is working efficiently. We are sorry to hear that you were cold during the day; its just a matter of turning the boiler switch from timer to constant. We do put the heating on timer, but we could have assisted you with this issue, if you had let us know during your stay. Property Owner
