"Glad to return to this lovely property."
Juliet and Kevin were attentive but not intrusive, on hand next door. Clean and comfortable.
-
"Juliet and Kevin were very friendly and considerate."
Very helpful. Stunning views from the property. Very quiet and peaceful Absolutely brilliant
-
"This was a lovely little cottage with everything you need."
It has fantastic river/estuary views. We went the week before everything opened up for Easter so it was very quiet but that had its own charm. The milk, Welsh cakes and wine were a nice welcoming touch We would certainly like to come back.
-
"Had a wonderful week."
The views over the estuary from the annexe were amazing as were the sunsets. The owners were welcoming, friendly and helpful. Although the main house is close the annexe still retains its privacy through intelligent design. Pembrey Country Park is quite close and was great for long walks with our dog. There are also a wide range of other activities there. Aberfa provides a cosy hideaway for a relaxing break.

"We have had a wonderful week at Aberfa."
The weather was lovely which was a bonus but the position of the annexe and the view was perfect. The peace and quiet was exactly what we needed. Lovely hosts, there if you needed them but not intrusive at all. Everything you need for a relaxing holiday.

"A lovely spot."
Sat on a hill overlooking a beautiful view of a beach and hills the other side of the estuary. The view changed with the weather but even when Storm Noa visited us for three days it was still beautiful. The cottage is warm and comfy. The owners really helpful and accommodating. Lots of birds, but we loved the pair of robins who kept popping out as the rain stopped.
-

"Beautiful Annexe but unfortunately the bed of which there was only one was so uncomfortable the quality of then mattress was alwful and so bad that we ,left a night early as we couldn't face another night sleeping on it ."
Please ask them to consider replacing it .It would make your visit so much better may be we would come again but not to sleep on that bed I must say the Gifts were fabulous and the place was clean 5 star

"The hosts and accommodation were perfect."
Our personal choice would be to have a screen divider to allow a sense of privacy between let and main house.
-

Honestly felt like a home from home but with fantastic views in an amazing setting. Owners couldn't have done more and exceeded expectations.
-
"The view looking out over from the property is outstanding."
Everything is on one level and the property is very well equipped, the owners who do live there are such nice people they are there if you need them but leave you to yourselves. The beach is great, we have a dog who just loved the walks morning and night, it is a hike back up the hill back, if you not to mobile but fun. Ther area we found was so lovely with so many little places to visit with beautiful beaches seemingly every where, would dearly like to go back again, well worth the visit.
-
"The pictures on the advert for Aberfa do not do it justice."
The views from the garden across the estuary every day are breathtaking and very calming this should be shown.

"An unusual holiday due to covid but you just have to work out what you can do."
The view from our accommodation was brilliant so when it rained and we had to stay in it wasn't so bad. Local restaurant was doing takeaway and that helped. Very comfortable.

Last but not least is the stunning view over the river, absolutely fascinating watching the changes in weather and tides. Can highly recommend Aberfa, could live in it permanently.
