"We had a lovely stay thank you."
Cottage was cosy and had everything we needed, Visited some lovely places and managed to tire the crazy cocker spaniel out. The weather was perfect! Thank you.

"We have been staying at this cottage for nearly 4 years, and at least 10 times."
So cosy, and everything you need. Very quiet location hidden away behind the main square. The owner Kate is very helpful and friendly, always leaves tea, coffee, milk, wine and doggy biscuits for your fur babies. Very comfortable and well equipped, enough room for me my husband and the dog. Definitely recommend

"Hi I couldn't leave a message for the owner couldn't find a pen?"
But there was a hole in the washing up bowl(have scrapped your mobile number)But cottage was very cosy,it was the steep walk to the front door as it was wet was very slipper. But lovely area for walking.
Hello - many thanks for your useful feedback. We have replaced the washing up bowl. So pleased to hear you enjoyed all the local walks. Kate Property Owner

"Thank you for letting us stay at the cottage, it is a lovely village enjoyed sitting outside lovely relaxing and quiet, we also enjoyed how accessible it is to travel around, we would definitely come back, but it would be another week at a time."
Understandable you have no room for a washing machine but everything else was lovely, and thank you for the welcome pack very much appreciated. Keith & Enid Pooley We are both. Retired so we are. not restricted when we can come. We both love horses so that was a bonus
-
"Lovely cottage, clean and comfortable with everything we needed."
Great location only 6 minutes away from Forbidden Corner and 25 from Lightwater Valley. A couple of minutes from the castle and lots of lovely walks. My granddaughter had a brilliant time. Big thank you for the lovely gift basket on arrival. Will definitely book again.
-
"A delightful little mews cottage tucked up two little lanes leading off market square."
Remarkably quiet for such a central location and the courtyard is a suntrap from early morning to mid afternoon. Lovely dog friendly walks from frontdoor and excellent facilities, pubs, cafe, shop and castle only short walk away. As can be anticipated in a mews cottage the stair is steep and narrow also cobbles on access path might not be easy for anyone with mobility issues but otherwise idyllic. I had no issues but owner was very accessible by text.

"Cottage was lovely and comfortable and welcoming."
One suggestion, the welcome pack comprised of a bottle of wine, doggie biscuits and some tea bags (which was a lovely thought), however, perhaps a pint of milk would be a nice touch in the pack. Only reason I say that is, anyone who travels a quite a distance, they could just go into cottage, have a cuppa immediately, without thinking 'I have to go to the shop'. As I say, that is just a suggestion, not a criticism. We would recommend your cottage to friends. Area is beautiful and The Richard 111 pub is a must for meals.

"Lovely little cottage in the heart of the village"
-
"Lovely cottage, well equipped, lovely village and close to some lovely walks, lovely welcome package"
-
"We cannot fault this beautiful cottage."
Perfectly situated in a beautiful village, the cottage itself was cosy and welcoming and the welcome pack left by Kate was a lovely touch. The beds were so comfy and the cottage had everything we wanted. Thoroughly recommend eating in the Richard III pub - staff and customers so friendly! Our only complaint? Not being able to stay forever! We’ll be back though!

"Having has some difficulty finding the cottage, Kate was very helpful in providing directions as the sat nav takes you nowhere near."
Tucked away down a wonderful secluded area, the cottage is so tranquil. Small but beautifully decorated and qaunt, set in a central location for the walks and amenities Middleham has to offer. Just what we wanted for a relaxing stay ven with our old dog.
-
"Lovely Cottage."
Now that the house behind is sold hopefully the new owner will cut down the garden which will make it much lighter inside. Lack of electrical sockets in the bedroom so couldn't use the bedside lamp and couldn't use anything in the small bedroom as its behind the bed. Not criticism just constructive advise.

"A good small property with all to a satisfactory standard."

Nice enclosed garden great for taking the pooch. Would definitely stay here again when coming back to the Yorkshire Dales.

"The stair case was a bit of a challenge and the seats inside and out were a bit uncomfortable."
Didn't detract from our excellent week

"We had a great few days at Wedgewood Cottage."
A pretty cottage ideally situated a few yards from the square in the centre of Middleham but very tranquil and quiet. Very clean accommodation, well planned and well laid out. An ideal option for a short break in the Dales. Could scarcely have been better. Highly recommended.

"Wedgewood Cottage was a very cosy and welcoming holiday cottage."
Set in a beautiful village. Our welcome pack was much appreciated.

"Very cosy, comfortable cottage in a great location."
We were delighted with our stay there in all respects. The one thing missing was a washing machine but, clearly, there was no obvious place to fit one in such a small space. Overall, I would thoroughly recommend Wedgewood Cottage as a place to stay.

"Making up the fireplace is nice, but including firelighters leaves a faint smell of paraffin in the room."
The fridge door needs adjusting, it doesn't close fully unless a conscious effort is made.
Many thanks for your comments which are useful to us. We are now using wrapped firelighters at all times, which leave no scent. We have examined the fridge door and rectified the issue immediately. Property Owner

"Had a little break away for 4 nights before Christmas and absolutely loved this cottage!"
it was perfect for me, my husband and our dog. very well equipped, from pots, pans etc to cleaning products. the personal touch from the owner leaving a welcome package of tea, coffee, biscuits, milk, wine and dog biscuits. we will definitely stay here again

"Had a lovely weekend break at Wedgewood Cottage recently."
The milk, wine and dogs treats on arrival was a lovely touch and much appreciated. The cottage was clean, comfortable and well equipped. Baen able to use additional portable radiators and the open fire made it more comfortable during the recent cold spell. Middleham is a great location for walking and exploring the beautiful Yorkshire Dales. I would recommend The Tack Room for a meal, not cheap, but well worth it.
-
"Excellent location and very private."
Lovely little cottage. No WiFi, but owner is trying her best to resolve...

The bustling market town of Leyburn is just a short drive away offering a variety of great shops and pubs, or why not take some time to explore The Forbidden Corner, a unique labyrinth of tunnels, chambers and surprises set amidst 4 acres of grounds, providing a fun day out for all the family? All in all a superb base for exploring Wensleydale and all within easy driving distance of York, the North York Moors and the Yorkshire Dales and Heritage Coast.
