  • "Highly recommend booking this property."

Exactly as advertised and the host was really friendly and helpful. It's an excellent base to explore Anglesey from. The barn was extremely clean and comfortable. Cannot fault anything and will be looking to come back soon.

  • "We have a lovely stay for my 30th birthday."

The house was beautiful and clean and had everything we need. The beds were comfy and the showers were amazing. We did need to buy some hand soap for the upstairs bathroom for when using the toilet. The location was great, a short drive away from everything we needed. The only thing that was disappointing was that on the ‘home to go’ website, which we originally found the cottage on, advised twice on the page that the cottage had a jacuzzi. So we specifically booked for that reason. When booking it made us book through skyecottages (which when checking- doesn’t advertise a jacuzzi) On arrival, we were disappointed to not have a hot tub. I would recommended checking with home to stay about the false advertisement, so other people don’t experience the same. Besides that, we have a 5* stay and I would defiantly book again for another special occasion. Your home is beautiful and welcoming Thank you for creating special birthday memories!

Thank you so much for your feedback, it’s really appreciated. Sorry you were misled on the ‘Home to Go’ website, I will take this up with them. We are looking to put a hot tub in for next season. Kind regards, Darrel Property Owner

  • "This was the perfect property for 4 ladies."

A lovely conversion on a private estate and ample parking too. We all had a beautiful en suite room each with our own TV. Very spacious when using the fab fully equipped kitchen, dining and lounge areas. TV with access to Netflix too. Ideal for our late September getaway. Our 4 night stay gave us plenty of time to get to places of interest, beaches, cafés, nearby Beaumaris, Plas Cadnant and Tre Ysgawen Hall Hotel on the wet day for spa treatment! As well as the wonderful Oriel Môn, Llangefni near the spa hotel with a cafe and a shop. All of which are a must for any visitor staying near or far. We had stayed in a nearby house rental last year and found its location ideal so knew we wanted to return and see some of the areas we’d missed as well as revisit. I think we’ve all agreed we’d like to come back to Bryn Gof.

Thank you for your review and kind words. Really glad you enjoyed Bryn Gof and we hope to see you again. Kind regards, Darrel Property Owner

About the location

LLANFAIRPWLLGWYNGYLL

Menai Bridge 2 miles; Beaumaris 6 miles.

Affectionately known by the locals as Llanfair PG, the Anglesey village of Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrnd robwllllantysiliogogogoch, also known by its shortened name of Llanfairpwllgwyngyll has the longest place name in Europe. It was artificially named back in 1860 as a publicity stunt for the railway station and translates from Welsh as "St Mary's church in the hollow of the white hazel near to the fierce whirlpool and the church of St Tysilio of the red cave". Situated close to the Menai Straits, just off the Britannia Bridge, Llanfair PG has much to offer families. After having your photo taken next to the village nameplate at the railway station, head into the popular visitors centre for local tourist information. A short walk past the octagonal Toll House, towards Menai Bridge, will bring you to the Marquis of Anglesey statue and column which, for a small fee, you can climb the 115 steps to the top for superb views of the countryside and coastline. Nelson’s Monument can be easily reached on the banks of the Menai Straits, passing St Mary’s Church on the way. With several good pubs with restaurants, craft and gift shops and cafes, plus the beautiful Anglesey coastline within walking distance, there is plenty to entertain you all year round.
