  • "Wonderful apartment with fantastic views."

Location perfect for the beach & train station. Local superstore close by. Plenty of space for a family of 4 & fully equipped with kitchen appliances. Car spaces are quite small & hilly but managed to park & well aware how hilly Carbis bay is! Great to have Sky tv in evenings & on rainy days. Outside space is great, unfortunately we didn’t make use of it due to the weather but fantastic in the nice weather. Would recommend the apartment & hope to come back again.

  • "Property is beautiful, stunning views in a stunning location overlooking Carbis Bay, the property is modern and has everything you can think of in terms of functionality, kitchen, bedroom equipment, parking, when we arrived, we were pleased to see some fresh milk, apple juice, tea, coffee, etc and this is very nice, I would make the point that it’s probably time for a bit of a refresh in terms of some small areas of paint work and the stairs carpet, also only one bedroom has a bathroom sink that I could really describe is functional for anything other than washing your hands, but it has three nice bathrooms with beautiful Aqualisa style showers ."

The design has attention to detail and if you want a modern property in a stunning location, this is the place, definitely recommend and would stay again.

Thank you for taking your time to leave feedback, it’s much appreciated. We are glad you enjoyed the welcome pack and are very pleased to hear you would stay again. We will be sure to pass on your suggestions to the owner for their consideration. Kind Regards, The Carbis Bay Holidays Team. Property Owner

  • "Superb location, amazing views, kitchen appliances was fantastic even managed to get all the holiday clothes washed and dried we was luck with the weather."

The beach is literally a 5 min walk down the steep hill. It’s a lung burner walking back up but we all love walking so no problem! The only minor thing is the bed in the 2nd bedroom is very hard. I like it to be softer however some people prefer a harder bed. The bedrooms could benefit with a fan as they do get warm at night if you don’t like leaving the door open. That’s my only minor issue and it never spoiled my holiday it was a fantastic week! We will 100% be coming back

Thank you for your wonderful feedback. We are thrilled to hear that you loved the property and your stay! Thank you so much again for your comments and we hope to welcome you back in the future. Kinds Regards, The Carbis Bay Holidays Team Property Owner

Can highly recommend this house, thank you. Had a fantastic holiday with my mum, step-dad plus 2 kids (2+8). House was out of this world and the views are amazing. The views...phenomenal. Can highly recommend La Casita, a fantastic Spanish place to eat. Carbis Bay Hotel, we also experienced the fabulous "Ugly Butterfly". We will definitely be back again

  • "Proper cleaning is warranted."

We arrived and brushed the floors. Full of hair and dust. Top of bed head full of dust. Rug in living room worn and dirty. Need replacing. In general value for money very poor.

Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to read your comments. Please be aware that we received a call from the housekeeper on your arrival day, reporting that she was unable to attend and check the cleaning of the property as you had let yourself in before check-in time. Please note as per your key collection details, check in is strictly from 4pm. If you have any issues during your stay please contact the local team and we will be able to assist straight away. • "First class holiday home, only downside is the parking."

If the other surrounding properties had been occupied, we wouldn't have been able to park our car. Fantastic views, comfortable and very well located to get around.

Thank you for your feedback, we are thrilled to hear that you loved the property. We are saddened that you struggled with your parking space during your stay, if you have any questions one of the local team are always on hand to help. • "Stunning views, quality furnishings and equipment Comfortable beds and pillows."

Convenient for train station to St Ives. Two minor quibbles - kitchen knives would benefit from sharpening, lack of live TV, as I said these were the only things that we could moan about. Overall a 5* experience.

Thank you so much for your feedback. We are happy to hear that you liked the property and your stay so much! We appreciate your comments to improve two points and are looking forward to welcoming you back in the near future. Kind Regards, The Carbis Bay Holidays Team Property Owner

  • "The property is well placed for walks along to St Ives or to Hale in the opposite direction."

It has stunning views across the bay to St Ives, especially good at sunset and sunrise in Summer. Everything was spotlessly clean and the kitchen was well equipped. It is a quiet location but is within easy reach of the beach.

Thank you for your feedback. We are delighted to hear you found everything spotlessly clean and well equipped. The views are stunning! Best Regards The Carbis Bay Holidays Team Property Owner

  • ""The location is fantastic, two minutes’ walk to the beach, two minutes to the train station to take a train to St Ives which is MUCH easier than parking and cheaper!"

You can walk to St Ives to (or run) even with the children, a nice steady walk rewarded by a tea and scone at the end! The accommodation has outstanding views of the beach/St Ives (fireworks at New Year), showers were out of this world (hard to get out of once in!), all the utensils/white goods were high end, had everything you could ask for. My husband and children found the TV’s with sky Q a huge bonus for films and sports on lazy afternoons! I made use of the washing machine! The beds we found extremely comfortable and cosy, the older girls LOVED their bunk beds! The welcome pack (sparkly wine, apple juice etc) was a lovely welcome and needed after 6 hours in the car! Checking in was simple and straight forward and was wonderful to be able to get into the property a few hours early. We had the best 4 nights away and can’t wait to return! "

  • ""Having always stayed in a caravan in Cornwall or tent, we opted for luxury this time."

I can honestly say it was exactly that, it was stunning from the minute you walk in the door, nothing was forgotten! From arrival snacks, lovely thought. Fully equipped kitchen with even a washing machine! The house/apartment was immaculately clean as well as having brand new / high end quality appliances! The best part of the house was by far the stunning view! One and only criticism, motion senses in the bedroom at night, bit bright when they go off with any slight movement. Would absolutely highly recommend this place and the Carbis Bay holiday team, from booking, arriving, and leaving. Perfect in every way. We will definitely be returning! Thank you, x "

  • ""Gwel An Chapel was absolutely fantastic, it had everything we needed and more!"

The view was stunning and we spent most evenings enjoying it. The welcome pack was a lovely touch and enjoyed by all of us. We often caught the train into St Ives as it was cheaper and easier than driving and parking. The beach is 5 minutes away. It is a very steep hill but worth it for the blue flag beach. We would definitely stay again!"
