  • "This is the second time we’ve stayed at Turtle Cove and yet again we weren’t disappointed."

All our needs were catered for and the house was spotless. We will definitely be back next year.

  • "When we walked into the Holiday Home it was such a fantastic surprise - the photographs don't do it enough justice as it is beautiful, very spacious, extremely clean and lovely."

A beach theme throughout and a perfect place to stay. We love Mawgan Porth beach which is just around the corner - and even on the rainy days it was so great to have a very comfortable home to go back to - with lots of board games there for us all and a massive garden for children. Thank you very much! Lisa & Family, Aug 2023

  • "What a beautiful holiday home."

My self my husband our two teens and our Dog had a wonderful stay in turtle cove. Everything was perfect the decor is so lovely if you need anything it’s all there for you too sue. We have stayed in Cornwall for many years and although this was a little way out of where we would normally stay we would not hesitate to come back and stay again, nothing is too far by car. If I’m honest I panicked when I saw the other review about the building work but by the time I saw it. It was too late as we had pulled onto the drive. Yes you can hear them but does it spoil it no it didn’t well not for us any way. Please don’t let this put you off staying in this little gem of a house. If I had a holiday home in Cornwall this is exactly as I would want it. Thank you so much Rachel x

  • "Very disappointing and inaccurate description of accommodation and location."

The whole stay except the weekend was spent on a building site! We woken each morning at 8am to articulated trunks, machinery and drilling. Unable to open windows and patio doors due to noise despite feel stuffy with the heat. We weren’t able to relax and wind down as part of a usual holiday. I videoed daily the disruption for evidence and I’ll send this to back up accounts. Overall as a family we feel that the this was not the holiday we were sold. Very expensive for a week of constant noise.

Sorry to hear that the builders working down the road spoilt your holiday. We have no control over them but they only work from 8-4pm weekdays, which is when our guests are usually out and about enjoying the beautiful Cornish scenery. The house is always very peaceful during the evenings and weekends, and once the builders have finished the other houses, which is soon, peace will reign at all times. With regard to inaccurate description of accommodation and location, I would totally disagree with this as the house is brand new and furnished to a very high standard and the location is accurate in the description, which has been written by Sykes.
