"Very nice lodge, owners were very helpful, had a few issues that we reported to owners that they were dealing with."
Only negative to this property the fridge was very small with no icebox

"This property is very nice inside."
But there was lots of spiders on the ceilings. And webs. Needed a good Hoover round the corners. Also very hard double bed. Outside was very scruffy and the patio door dirty and the slab and surround coated with bird poo. Awful mess needed a jet wash.looked really bad. Also needs a step to help get in the door as very high up.

"We had a lovely time here!"
Location was ideal, in between 2 beautiful town. Would highly recommended visiting Bude. Launceston was easy access for shopping etc. The owners of the lodge are very welcoming and pleasant. The farm shop has a bar and again staff were lovely. One recommended a gorgeous gin which I'm gutted I didn't note down now

"Very friendly owners."
Lovely little shop and bar. Chalet was bigger than expected. Plenty of room to walk a dog (but beware, wellies needed as site is all grass/fields). Hubby was impressed with the fishing lake - bigger than expected. This site is being upgraded and expanded so will be really special when finished.

"Very welcoming couple, in a family friendly campsite."
Great location with lots to do. Would definitely go back as a great time had by all. The fire pit is a must and gave us some late evenings keeping warm and toasting marshmallows.

"Lovely quite location with clear views from lodge."
Small lake but we had no luck, but only fished an hour for a couple of evenings. Marianne and Alun were very welcoming and made sure we were happy with everything. The sheep seemed almost tame and enjoyed having their heads scratched. Would I go again ? yes and the end of September was a good time go. Thank you Sykes for keeping me informed along the way.

"Lovely child /dog friendly working farm cabin, with great views, short drive from Bude, Widemouth bay and Launceston!"

"Marianne and Alan who run the lodges and campsite are the nicest couple you could meet, they are so welcoming and accommodating ."
The lodge was clean, comfortable and very homely. The kitchen had everything you would need to cook for the family. We fished at the lake and caught some good fish. We all had a great time and would highly recommend to everyone to stay there. You couldn't be disappointed. We have stayed at many holiday homes across the country, but this had something very special about it. The children loved having the sheep, cows and chickens so close by, and loved hunting for eggs! We would say it was great value for money, and would definitely go back again.
