"Once again a lovely holiday thanks to John the owner."
Excellent accommodation well presented in a ideal setting This is our 3rd visit and hopefully more to come.
-
"Cottage was very comfortable, clean and tidy and was equipped with everything we needed."
Beautiful garden and excellent location for our holiday.
-
"The property was set in a lovely location with superb views of the mountains."
We were met by the lovely owner and shown around and given instructions on how to set the boiler etc. The owner had also provided a much needed bottle of milk and a delicious apple pie. The property is in easy reach of Killorglin and on the Ring of Kerry making it an excellent base. We had a very comfortable stay in the property and would recommend it.
-
"Hillgrove House is a wonderful rental and John O'Connor a cordial and friendly host."
The BIG extra here is the view of mountains across the valley with changing light and clouds to endlessly entertain during morning coffee at the picnic table out front. A wonderful experience. Barb, Dick, Christine, Patrick, Eugeine

The owner John could not have been nicer he came into Killorglin on the day we arrived as we had a problem finding the house and toke us to it such a lovely man as were all the people we met their we went for the Puck Fair which was the first one in 3 years due to Covid. But it was as good as ever.

"The house is in a stunning location with incredible views of the Macgillycuddy Reeks."
John Paul made us feel so welcome and the house was kept immaculately. We spent many hours in the lovely garden soaking in the beautiful surrounds. Would highly recommend this house and hope to be back in the future.

"For the money we paid everything all expectations were met."
Possibly a viewing card in the sky box in the kitchen could be made available for use as we had to obtain a now box in order to watch tv. Also blind on the window that opens in the lounge could be lowered so it fills the whole window. Instead of part way in able to put out all the light and sun not just partially. Otherwise a very enjoyable relaxing holiday was had by all. Just what the doctor needed

"Difficult to say as we really enjoyed our time in Ireland."
The house was lovely, very clean, good facilities which all worked and nice garden to sit in to admire the view.

"We had a wonderful 2 weeks in Hillgrove House."
It’s in a great location - close but not too close to the town. Killorglin has every amenity you could need on holidays and a exceptionally well stocked supermarket. The view from the house is breathtaking and was such a joy to behold each morning - coming from a crowded city - a real bonus. Lots of space around the house for children to play and the location was central for travelling to beaches and other attractions. A great holiday all round and we hope to return again next year.

"We had an excellent holiday in this house because it was very clean, comfortable and well equipped."
There is a great view over the mountains, as you lie up at the fire, (after a hot bath) after a big day out in the mountains! After a lovely meal out in the town we were able to walk home. John was a great hospitable host and ensured we had everything we needed. We have recommended Hillgrove to friends and look forward to returning.

"We stayed a week at Hillgrove House, and loved it."
It's very comfortable, spotless and quiet. The bunnies in the garden were a bonus! Kathleen couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. Also loved this part of Ireland, we drove round the Beara, Kerry and Dingle peninsulas and enjoyed them all. Hope to come again for some more hiking and would definitely want to stay at Hillgrove House again.

"Thank you very much."
We were absolutely delighted with everything. The place was more than spotless - it was immaculate!!! Brilliant location - peace and quiet - you could only hear birds and sheep, and see hares hopping around the cottage. Close to the shops (3 mins on the car). We were there with two kids and another family- happy with everything. Nice size garden- great to enjoy your morning coffee looking out to beautiful mountains. Nice and safe - not too close to the main road. Will definitely be back !!!!
