"We loved our stay at Fuschia Cottage!"
It felt like home the minute we arrived. Immaculately clean with a huge well-equipped kitchen. Very private location, great countryside views and all the amenities. Bernie and Derry are lovely hosts.

"A lovely stay in the most beautiful of areas."
We would recommend a visit to the breathtaking Ring of Kerry to anyone. Fuchsia Cottage is a really nice spot a little way out of town. We had a bit of an issue with the plumbing but the owners responded very quickly. The beds are amongst the most comfortable we have ever slept on. There were a couple of basics missing (casserole dish, cheese grater) but otherwise the cottage provided everything needed for a great break.

"Had a lovely stay at Fuchia Cottage."
Beautiful setting, plenty of space for dogs and very safe. Bernie was very helpful and we wanted for nothing. Would definitely consider a return visit.

"Spent a lovely week at this wonderful cottage tucked away on the hillside overlooking the mountain range and the sea."
Was a great location just 1 mile from the beach and with the fortunate weather we had we were able to enjoy it to the full. Big plus for us was that we were able to bring the dogs with us. We will return.

"Fuschia Cottage is warm and welcoming - a reflection of its lovely hosts Bernie and Derry."
Its location on a height affords wonderful views and is an ideal base for exploring both the coastal and inland delights of the Iveragh peninsula. We thank our hosts for a marvellous week in spite of the less than perfect weather - always the sign of a successful rental. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, none more so than our dog Riley. D, B and N Rankin

"Yes make your customers aware that the price of the cottage may change ie it may go up or down."
I presumed what I saw when I booked was your final price ie you have low, mid & high season pricing. I booked the cottage in March 2021 and then the price dropped by nearly £200 for June. Every time I have tried to call it takes over 30mins to answer the phone, this is very poor customer service. There is no email on your website either, when I finally did get to speak to someone re your pricing he did give me an email address to send my complaint on. I'VE STILL NOT HEARD BACK, again very poor service. I then try again to notify you that we had 2 people coming to the cottage but as there's no option to update online, you have to call. I gave up after waiting 40mins on the phone, there is obviously a problem with your communication service. The cottage was lovely and the owners were very helpful. I look forward to your response. "First of all an apology."
... for not submitting feedback until now! Fuschia Cottage is an absolutely perfect location for a relaxing holiday! It's central location means you can reach all the attractions 'The Ring' has to offer without rushing around and missing anything; we were able to savour lazy lie-ins, relaxed breakfasts and still spend the a good deal of the day indulging ourselves with long walks with the dogs and feeling overwhelmed with the stunning views that filled our eyes and hearts with wonder. Then bimbling 'home',normally being met by Ben & Laddie bounding towards us with a huge doggy grins. Bernie & Derry are the nicest couple you could hope to meet, full of warmth, cheer and they can have a rightful pride in the cottage for what it gives to those that stay there. Fuschia swallows you up with warmth and comfort, inviting you to relax and escape the rat-race of day to day life. So much that there was a tinge of regret when it was time to leave and we bade our farewells and drove away. Most holidays sometimes feel as if they are over as you leave a place, but this was one of those times that the feeling of utter relaxation stayed with us for days afterwards, even though we both where back at work within 48hrs. (My boss had to work hard to get the serene look off my face) Bernie mentioned that next year could be the last season that they will be renting Fuschia out, if that does turn out to be the case, we would heartily recommend that people take the opportunity to book the cottage and enjoy what so many others have enjoyed over the years. You will not be disappointed. Coral, Steve, Jazz & Todd

"Fuschia cottage is in a beautiful location on the outskirts of Waterville town."
We really enjoyed our stay.
-
"We received a very warm welcome from Bernie and Derry who were also a great support during our stay."
We loved Fushia Cottage, a homely cosy cottage in a lovely relaxing setting. The cottage contained everything that you would need in order to support a comfortable stay. The winding staircase is a great authentic feature in the cottage but may be difficult for those who would need support using stairs for example the elderly or young children. We are a family of three, highly recommending Fushia Cottage, we loved staying there, with plans for returning next year!!

"This cottage is an absolute gem!"
! Excellent location for exploring the Ring of Kerry. The cottage had great facilities and very clean. The surrounding gardens were perfect for us and our dog. It was well set back from the road so we had no issues with letting our dog out to round about off lead. Cottage had a dishwasher and washing machine which was an added bonus and bed and shower were great. We would definitely consider rebooking in the future if we were to head back to Co. Kerry. Our hosts, Bernie and Derry were lovely and nothing was too much bother. Overall we had a fantastic stay in Fuchsia Cottage

"It was one of the most enjoyable holidays we've ever had."
The cottage was spacious, well-equipped and comfortable and Derry and Bernie were extremely welcoming and helpful. The sunshine helped of course but Kerry really is beautiful. Visiting the Skellig islands was quite expensive but worth it for the close-up views of the gannet colony and the seals. A walk round Loop Head was well worth the effort with its dramatic cliffs, wild flowers and birds. We saw a White-tailed eagle over the Upper Lake of Killarney National Park and we found Derry Nane Bay with its dunes and expanses of sand delightful.

"We were given a warm Irish welcome by our hosts, Bernie and Derry."
The cottage is on an elevated site with extensive views looking towards mountains. The cottage is spacious, comfortable, homely and the comfortable beds ensure a good night's sleep. The surrounding countryside is beautiful, the coastal scenery, spectacular, the people charming and the seafood for which the area is renowned is great. Derrynane Beach, The Ballinskelligs Ring, Valentina Island have great views and walks. Towns and villages are well-cared for and tidy.

"Comfortable everything we expected Friendly welcoming couple"

"Magnificent location on side of mountain ."
5 mins from centre of waterville with great restaurants and pubs. Throw in one of the best sea trout /salmon lakes in Europe and you have heaven. Highly recommended.

"A very nice cottage in a quiet location with the added benefit of two bathrooms."
The owners have a holiday cottage tagged on in the former barn. The directions need updating as the “No Shooting” sign has been replaced by one saying “Fuschia”. Some smaller crockery such as a casserole dish and a small Pyrex bowl would be useful if there are two people staying.

"Beautiful cottage."
In a perfect spot. We were both really happy with it. The pictures on the site dont do it justice. Wonderful stay in fushia cottage. We hope to return soon.

"Fuchsia cottage was a brilliant space to relax for us - Bernie and her husband were wonderfully welcoming, and it was nice to be able to enjoy the beautiful weather in such a gorgeous location."
Our young son and our dog were able to just run around outside and have fun and the location is very convenient for day trips exploring Ballinskelligs and the Ring of Kerry. The beds were extremely comfy, always important on a holiday, and the whole family was able to have fun and relax.

"Bernie and her husband, very welcoming, cottage perfect for what we needed."
Great location for exploring Kerry, beaches one side, mountains behind. Would happily stay again.

"Bernie was wonderful."
We had virtually no water in one shower, but she said she checked with a plumber and it would be fixed after we left. I hope so.

"Lovely cottage in a beautiful location."
Would have been nice to have connected Wifi, rather than a pay as you go modem and a hair dryer. Apart from that a very enjoyable stay and very nice owners that live next door and where very helpful.
